关于英语比赛演讲稿(精选16篇)整理英语竞赛演讲稿篇14 Good afternoon, honorable judges, dear teachers friends.Im Lai Senhan from the University of International Business Economics.Do you know what date is it today? Today is the Olympic Date.Im so glad to stand here today to share my idea about Beijing Olympic Games together with you all.The title of my speech is: what can we do for Beijing Olympic Games?First of all, let me tell you a story that happened 2 years ago.At the end of August, 2023, when I decided to come to Beijing for study, my friends hel* * **rewell Party for me.They said: after your graduation, you should look for a job in Beijing, and then in 2023, we shall go to visit you during the Olympic Games.I laughed and answered: OK, no problem!Time flied and 2 years passed. Now I am a graduate. My teachers and classmates always ask me: whats your plan after your graduation? Go back home, stay in Beijing, or go to some other places? And I always answer: I will stay in Beijing.I make this decision not because of my promise to my friends 2years ago, but because: Ive fallen in love with Beijing! Im eager to welcome the coming Olympic Games together with my fellow countrymen, and I wish I could do something for the Olympics for the city.As we know, Beijing will host the 29th Summer Olympic Games in 2023.As a Chinese, I think many people are thinking: what we can do for Beijing Olympic Games. Most of us are not athletes, we cannot take part in competitions directly; we are not officials either, we dont need to do the preparatory work.We are only ordinary people, what we can do!There are still so many things we can do! For example, for me, I am a graduate majoring Business English. As far as I am concerned, I will keep on learning English hard, and apply for being a volunteer.I will use English to serve the Games together with other volunteers. And also, as a businessman at that time, I will avail myself of the great commercial opportunities that the Olympics brings to us, make more efforts to offer my contribution to the growth of our national economy. And for all of us, with the goal to host a Green Olympics, we shall plant more trees, grass flowers.Dont waste water. In order to alleviate the problems of air pollution trafficcongestions, we shall take buses subways more. With the goal to host a Peoples Olympics, and in order to make our Olympics more attractive and to make our Beijing more beautiful, we shall help everyone we meet who needs help, we shall abide by traffic rules, dont smoke in public and no spitting. The most important way for our Chinese to support our Beijing Olympic Games, in my opinion, is to work hard on our duties.英语竞赛演讲稿篇15“Diane, can you speak a little louder, please?” That’s what my teacher said to me on the first day of school. I almost burst into tears as so many students turned to watch me sitting down in the corner that belonged to me. After school, my teacher found me, smiling, she said: “You don’t have to be afraid of anyone. People just want to know about you so the next time just let them hear what you have to say. After so many years, I am still a shy person as I was fifteen years ago but the difference is I am not any more afraid of letting people know about me, hear about my ideas.People, as we are, are never isolated individuals. We all live on the planet where lives all the other people as well. So keeping oneself excluded would never work, or else we would always be trapped in that little corner of ours. We have to step into the world as we are in fact part of it.I’ve always remembered what Simba said to her daughter: we are one. So what’s to be afraid of? Since human beings are virtually linked souls. Just tell others what we really think, how we really feel. Even if we do have the wrong idea, we will have the chance to correct our mistakes. And if we don’t, it’s all right. But if we never spoke our mind, we will never know what we are missing out in this world. We will never know what we can actually make of ourselves. And we will never know what is needed to live a life with other people. When there is giving, there is receiving. That’s how the communication circle works. We are all very blessed to have so many people hear our voice. So don’t refuse the blessing for life is based on it. Just remember when the world knows more about us, we know more about the world. So today, can you hear my voice?英语竞赛演讲稿篇16On March 14th, 20xx, professor Stephen William Hawking passed away. His contribution to inflationary cosmology has forever shifted our understanding of the universe. He wasn’t just a physicist for England, but for all mankind. His death marks the end of an era. He has passed the baton to a new generation of minds, to a new era. The exploration of nature waits for no man. So, are we ready to embrace the new era and new challenges? When I was a kid, professor Hawking was known to me as the author of A Brief History of Time. I bought a lot of science books back then, but they were really difficult to understand. Whenever I stumbled, I would turn to my physics teacher for help. We would go through pages and pages of materials together, whether it was middle school stuff or Feynman’s lecture from Caltech, sometimes hours on end. I felt like we were tearing off the mask of nature and staring at the face of god. It was his guidance that encouraged me to study physics today. We’re living in an era in which science is embedded in people’s lives. From teachers whopass on knowledge, to construction workers who build labs; from organizations that provide funding, to scientists who conduct research, we all contribute to science in our own unique ways. We the people say we’re ready. On October 5th, 20xx, China finally had its first Nobel Prize in natural science. Ms. Tu Youyou’s work and her receiving the most prestigious science award made us proud. We’re living in an era in which China is building some of the best research projects and institutions worldwide. Just a month ago, Professor Zhang Miman won the UNESCO for Women in Science Award, making her the fifth Chinese recipient of this honor. A week after that, The Economist referred to China as “a continent-sized rapidly growing economy with a culture of scientific inquiry”. Physicist and vice president of the Chinese Academy of Science, Dr. Zhang Jie stated, “China now has the most accurate, sufficient and largest amount of data; China has the highest, fastest and best ability of data analysis. The Chinese government will be strongly pushing for the sharing and utilization of data resources.” We as a country say we’re ready.Science is an immortal topic of mankind. We’ve come this far because we’ve learned to work together and let the ideas evolve. The dispute over the completeness of quantum mechanics, for example, was resolved in the 5th Solvay conference, attended by 29 physicists from 10 different countries who have won 15 Nobel Prizes combined. That was almost 100 years ago. Now we’re living in an era in which information is transmitted at the speed of light, in which “International cooperation” is not just a slogan anymore, especially to the scientific community. Chinese Academy of Science now has 47 partners overseas. The International Council for Science now includes 122 national members, 23 scientific associates and 31 scientific unions. The facilities of the EuropeanOrganization for Nuclear Research, or CERN, are available to over 600 universities and institutes around the globe. We, the world, are more than ready. We’re all made of particles that have existed since the beginning of the universe, I’d like to believe those particles traveled through countless eras to create us, so that we, the people, China, and the world, can stand on the shoulders of giants, march into the new era with our head held high, and make people like Professor Hawking proud.【英语竞赛演讲稿】文档内容到此结束,欢迎大家下载、修改、丰富并分享给更多有需要的人。

英语说题比赛范例作文Certainly, here's an example essay for an English speaking competition:Title: The Power of Empathy。
In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to lose sight of the importance of empathy. Yet, empathy remains one of the most vital traits we can possess as human beings. It is the ability to understand and share the feelings of others, to walk in their shoes even if only for a moment. In this essay, I will explore the significance of empathy in fostering understanding, compassion, and connection among individuals and communities.First and foremost, empathy serves as a bridge between individuals from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences. When we empathize with others, we open ourselves up to their perspectives and emotions, breaking down barriers of misunderstanding and prejudice. In a worldwhere divisions seem to be growing wider, empathy offers a path towards greater unity and harmony. Moreover, empathy is the foundation of genuine compassion and kindness. When we empathize with someone, we are more likely to act in ways that alleviate their suffering or support their well-being. Whether it's lending a listening ear to a friend in need or volunteering our time to help those less fortunate, empathy motivates us to make a positive difference in the lives of others.Furthermore, empathy strengthens the bonds of human connection. When we feel understood and valued by others, we are more inclined to trust and form meaningful relationships. Whether it's with family members, friends, or strangers, empathy fosters a sense of belonging and solidarity that enriches our lives. In addition, empathy plays a crucial role in conflict resolution and reconciliation. By empathizing with the perspectives and grievances of those on opposing sides of a dispute, we can find common ground and work towardspeaceful resolutions. Instead of escalating conflicts through hostility and resentment, empathy allows us to approach differences with understanding and empathy. In conclusion, empathy is a powerful force for positive change in the world. It enables us to connect with others on a deeper level, to show compassion and kindness, and to build bridges of understanding and reconciliation. In a world often characterized by division and discord, empathy offers hope for a brighter and more compassionate future. Let us strive to cultivate empathy in ourselves and inspire it in others, for it is through empathy that we can truly make a difference in the world.。

This understanding helps break down stereotypes, reduce prejudice, and foster empathy. It allows us to build bridges of understanding and create a more harmonious society. Secondly, cultural diversity enhances creativity and innovation. When people from different cultural backgrounds come together, they bring unique perspectives and ideas. 比赛英文演讲稿英文Good day, dear friends! Today, I want to talk to you about the art of crafting an English speech for a competitionFirst and foremost, a great competition speech should have a clear and compelling topic It's like the foundation of a building – if it's not strong, the whole structure could crumble You need to pick something that you are passionate about, something that makes your heart race and your mind buzz with ideas It could be a social issue that you care deeply about, a personal experience that has shaped you, or a vision for the future that you believe inWhen you have your topic, it's time to do some research This is not just about looking up facts and figures on the internet; it's about digging deep, understanding different perspectives, and gathering reallife stories and examples to support your points Remember, the more you know about your topic, the more confident and authoritative you will sound on stageThe structure of your speech is also crucial It should have a beginning that grabs the audience's attention, a middle that presents your main ideas and arguments in a logical and coherent way, and an ending that leaves a lasting impression A common structure is to start with a powerful opening, such as a rhetorical question, a shocking fact, or a personal anecdote Then, in the middle, break your main points into clear paragraphs, each with its own subheading or transition sentence to make the flow smooth And for the ending, summarize your key points, call for action, or leave the audience with a thoughtprovoking statementNow, let's talk about the language Keep it simple and straightforward Avoid using overly complex words and sentences that might confuse your listeners But at the same time, don't be too casual – this is a competition, after all Use vivid and descriptive language to paint a picture in the audience's minds Use metaphors, similes, and anecdotes to make your speech more engaging and memorableDelivery is just as important as the content of your speech Stand tall, make eye contact with your audience, and speak clearly and loudly Use gestures and body language to emphasize your points and convey your emotions And don't forget to pace yourself – don't rush through your speech or speak too slowly and lose the audience's interestOne thing that many people overlook is the importance of rehearsing Practice your speech over and over again, in front of a mirror, to your family and friends, or even record yourself and listen back to it This will help you iron out any kinks, get the timing right, and build up your confidenceAlso, be prepared for unexpected situations What if you forget your lines? Don't panic! Take a deep breath, pause for a moment, and then smoothly move on The audience is usually more forgiving than you thinkIn conclusion, writing and delivering an English speech for a competition is no easy task, but with the right topic, wellresearched content, a clear structure, engaging language, confident delivery, and plenty of practice, you can stand out on that stage and make your voice heard So go ahead, take the plunge, and let your words shine!Thank you for listening!。

英语说题比赛精彩稿Good morning, ladies and gentleman. Today, I feel honored to have the chance to share my ideas about how to teach reading. In the reading process, I will focus on students’long-term development and enable them to use proper reading skills and strategies. In other words, students are guided to read efficiently and independently. My teaching plan will include 3 sections. They’re analysis of the reading material, identifying the teaching aims and teaching procedures.Section 1 Analysis of the teaching materialThe selected teaching material is a magazine article taken from the Project section of Module 11, Unit 2 of Advance with English. The article is about British students who take a gap year, which is intended to develop the theme of the unit, that is, Getting a job. After analyzing it carefully, I find the article has two unique characteristics. First, it’s a long passage with 688 words, much more than the usual texts. Second, it deals with a new topic, that is, a gap year. The topic is unfamiliar to most students.Section 2 Indentifying the teaching aimsBased on the analysis of the teaching material, I have chosen the following as the teaching aims of my lesson:The 1st aim: Students learn the skills and strategies to read a prolonged text. The 2nd aim: Students get a better understanding of what a gap year is.The 3rd aim: Students are encouraged to figure out the implied meaning. The 4th aim: Students are familiar with various expression_r_r_r_r_rs or approaches to express the same thing or idea.Section 3 Teaching proceduresIn order to achieve the teaching aims mentioned above, I decide to choose guided reading and Task-Based Teaching as the main teaching approach. With the teaching methods, I can guide students to use effective reading strategies to comprehend the text, solve problems and complete different tasks. The teaching procedures include four parts. They’re getting ready, focusing on main facts, reading between the lines and responding the text.Part 1. Getting readyReading begins before a book is opened. It’s important to activate students’existing background knowledge and draw their attention to the topic of the text. In this part, I will use the pre-reading activities to increase students’concentration, arouse their curiosities, fire their imagination and give them a purpose for reading. The part consists of two tasks:Task 1: A time machine. I start my lesson by asking senior 3 students what the date is. Then, I go on to show a picture of a time machine. I tell students that the machine with a magic power will bring them to their graduation from high school, which is 1 year away. At that point, I get them to imagine where they are and what they are doing. After it, I give a summary of their presentations as follows: After leaving high school, most of Chinese students go straight to university.Yes, at this time next year, most of you will be studying in a university.(With the task, I inspire students’former knowledge and imagination about graduating from high school and going to college, which can draw their attention to the theme of the reading material and get them ready for the following reading.)Task 2: Brainstorming. After the summary, I go on to show some more pictures of British students fresh from high schools, and tellstudents that more and more students in the UK are doing something different instead of going straight to university. After that, I play the tape of Para.1 and get students to catch the answer to the question: They will travel or work on projects for up to a year before entering university.(With the task, I excite students’desire to know more about what their British equivalents will do before going to college. With the question in mind, students will definitely be eager to listen to the tape to find the answer. )Part 2. Focusing on main factsDuring the part, I will ask the students to answer the question-What does the author say? Students are supposed to get a main idea of the text and understand the basic meaning of the text. Questions of this kind are not very difficult and they can be answered directly from the text. The part includes six tasks:Task 1: Three examples. I move on to tell students as follows: Last year, Carol Smith, Daniel and Martin Johnson, 3 students from the UK, went to some remote places and did something special. After the instructions, I play the tape of Paragraphs 4-6 and get students to complete the following table.Task 2: Matching. After listening, I get students to open books and scan the three paragraphs to check the answers to the previous table. Then they’re required to complete another table with a second reading. (With the task, I get students to listen to the three paragraphs instead of reading them, thus reducing the amount of reading time and reliving their psychological burden, otherwise students would be discouraged by such a long article.)(With the task, students learn to use a table to gather the main facts about the three British students. They’ll come to know that a table is of great help in their future reading.)Task 3: Scanning for a detail. I get students to scan the rest paragraphs and find the answer to the question: What do people call the year off between finishing school and starting university? In doing so, I introduce the theme of the article and write on the blackboard the title: Mind the gap year.(With the task, students are expected to grasp the theme of the article. The task serves as a bridge, which connects the main facts in Paragraphs 4-6 to the opinions about the gap year in the rest paragraphs.)Task 4: Definition of the gap year. Students watch a VCR with a question in mind: What three types of activities do the UK studentschoose to do during a gap year? The key is: Many students use that time to travel, learn new skills or become a charity volunteer. (The task serves as a supplementary to the second task of Part 1. With the task, students are expected to know more about the gap year.)Task 5: History of the gap year. I play a second VCR and get students to answer the question: When did the gap year start in the UK? (The task enables students to have a good knowledge of the history of the gap year.)。
