现如今已经进入了信息化时代，互联网技术逐步渗透到了多个领域之中，教育领域亦是如此。

基于这一背景，“微课”就此诞生。

现如今越来越多的英语教师开始尝试在课堂教学中应用微课，帮助学生们完成重点知识突破，进而提升课堂学习的整体质量。

本篇文章将阐述微课的基本概念，探讨当前初中英语教学中存在的诸多问题，并对于具体应用的方法方面提出一些合理的见解。

1. 微课的基本概念所谓微课，其主要是指依靠互联网技术，将日常教学活动中所包含的各类教学资源、课程教学目标、课后教学评价以及应用的方法全部结合在一起，以此形成一类具有统一性特点教学系统。

微课属于当前时代的新型教学模式，主要依靠评视频载体针对某个单一教学点展开详细分析。

由于内容十分精简，因此一般时长都在5到8分钟之间，因此能够满足学生们长时间保持注意力的基本要求，促使学生们能够有效完成知识学习。

2. 当前初中英语教学存在的诸多问题2.1过于重视知识传输在早期的初中英语教学过程中，由于长期受到应试教育的影响，教师便会将自己当作课堂教学的主人，直接向学生们进行知识灌输，促使学生们时刻紧跟自己的思路。

这种方式便会导致学生们只能被动完成知识学习，无法激发其学习兴趣。

久而久之，学生们便会失去英语学习的积极性，甚至还会产生一定的厌恶情绪。

如此一来，课堂教学的质量自然无法达到预期的水平，同时学生的多方面能力也未能得到有效培养。

英语属于一门语言，学生们之所以学习英语，其主要目的便是能够运用于生活之中，从而和他人进行交流和沟通。

显然这种模式无法达到这一水平，使得学生的综合水平有所下降。

2.2教学模式十分单一根据相关调查可以了解，当前绝大多数初中英语教师在授课的时候，仍然采用按部就班的教学方式，根据教材本身，以此完成英语课程讲学。
