Unit 8 The Art of Smart Guessing1.

What do you think of the children's rebellious behaviour?
Does your child seem impossible to control at times? Do you notice your child consistently disobeying, resisting or defying higher authority.?Nowadays, there is a phenomenon that more and more children are behaving rebelliously, especially the generation of 90s ,which has aroused a big concern. Some people hold the point that the chlidren who behave rebelliously are all bad ones that are incorrigible while others think that rebel is a necessary experience in their growing period so they consider it reasonable.
As far as I'm concerned, I agree more with the latter who hold that children's rebel is reasonable and acceptable.Because there are different kinds of reasons for it in all directions, such as school, family, society and so on. To the parents, they are likely to focus on teaching them to be polite and study hard without caring about their inner thoughts. As a result, this repulsive behavior will probably make the chileren hate them and don't like to talk to their parents.,which may lead to children's rebellious behaviour.Besides, the education systems and teachers' ways of judging a student can also be an important factor that influences children's behavior. It is known that exam-oriented education is the main education systems in our country, which may lead to poor children's rebellious behaviour so as to attract more attention. And teachers usually play a very important role on students' life.If they are unfair or prejudiced, some students will be unhappy or even do something bad to protest. What's more, public opinion and social morality may also make a bad effect on children's behavior since they
are easily influenced by surroundings. Recently, there has been many teenagers who break the law, which should be paid muchattention to.
However, what should we do to help the children? The most important for us is to make children realize their mistakes and then correct themselves. And these are some w ays in list. Firstly,as a parent,he should let his child be more independent and give them more freedom.,such as let him make his own decision, even in some important things, instead of falling into the habit of responding negatively to your child when they have brought things to your attention. In this way, children will find that they are respected. Secondly, as a teacher, he should be fair as possible as he can, pay more attention to the poor and rebellious students, and try to make them confident and encourage them to study hard. Thirdly, the society should take some measures to keep good social morality to help the children grow healthily. Finally, children should keep good mood, and try to communicate with their parents ,teachers, and classmates.
All in all, the children's rebellious behaviour can be consider as a necessary experience in their growing period, the children can be easily influenced by their parents ,teachers ,and also the society. We should start by respecting the children. Treat them as we would like to be treated with kindness. Listen to what they tell us. Pay more attention to them, and give them more private space and freedom .This action will help to develop a close relationship plus give them the example of how to behave.
