I think that mooncakes are delicious! 教学设计(Period1)一、教学目标在本节课结束时,学生将能够:谈论自己了解的节日并对某个节日、某种节日特色等发表观点。
知识与能力:学会使用What do you like best about…?句型来询问对方最喜欢的节日及节日特色;能够使用准确的语言描述自己喜欢的节日、节日特色及理由。
过程与方法:采用自主学习、小组合作探究、Role-playing的学习策略,利用幻灯片、录音机来展开课堂教学、Pairwork 问答式的口语交际活动或游戏等小组活动,进行“谈论节日和节日特色”的课堂教学和练习。
本课时的教学法建议:口语教学——采取Pairwork问答式的口语交际活动互相操练;听力教学——采取回答问题和判断正误的方式进行;词汇教学——采取情景介绍或演示对比的方式进行教学,让学生在情境中操练、理解含义,并学会运用。
情感态度与价值观:通过谈论节日及节日特色,加强学生对于不同国家和地区文化风俗的了解。
二、教学重难点教学重点:(1)询问他人最喜欢的节日或者节日特色。
(2)描述自己最喜欢的节日、节日特色并说明理由。
(3)就节日这一话题分角色表演对话。
教学难点:描述自己最喜欢的节日、节日特色并说明理由。
三、教学策略口语教学——采取Pairwork问答式的口语交际活动等小组互动活动互相操练;听力教学——采取回答问题和判断正误的方式进行;词汇教学——采取情景介绍或演示对比的方式进行教学,让学生在情境中操练、理解含义,并学会运用。
四、教学过程Step 1:Lead-in导入本单元话题——节日。
教师通过提问Do you know these festivals? , What other festivals do you know? 和What festivals do the pictures remind you of?让学生思考、了解、谈论部分中西方节日及节日特色。
Unit2 Topic2 SectionD 教学设计Ⅰ. Material analysis本课是第二单元第二话题的第四课时,是本话题的复习课,主活动是1a和Project。
通过Grammar和Functions让学生归纳总结本话题的语法知识——不定代词和不定副词的用法,以及一些重要的表达。
通过1a部分,培养学生寻找段落之间的逻辑关系,再利用逻辑关系完成排序任务。
1b引导学生在阅读过程中注意“wh-questions”,提高阅读效率。
2是通过小组讨论的方式,探究保护水资源和和节约用水的方法,为3的写作任务作铺垫。
3是教会学生如何写倡议书,培养学生在写作中排篇布局,即先构建写作框架,再加上合理的观点。
Project是通过让学生换位思考,充当不同的自然资源,描述各自的功能,现状和期望,来唤起大众保护环境的意识。
本课所设置的“写倡议书”和“制作海报”都在培养学生“用英语做事情”的能力。
Ⅱ. Teaching aims1.Knowledge aims:掌握本课的重点词汇和短语,复习不定代词,不定副词和重点表达法。
了解淡水资源短缺的现状。
2.Skill aims:培养学生通过wh-questions(如:what,why等),理解短文的意思。
能够读懂有关自然资源的文章。
能够利用已有框架,加上自己的观点,提高写作技能。
3.Emotional aims: (optional)关注自然资源的现状,倡导学生保护环境,节约用水。
4.Culture awareness:(optional)通过对水资源现状的了解,认识到自然资源对人类的重要性,加入到保护环境、珍惜资源的队伍中。

I. Warming up by reading aloud the text
Reading aloud is great for practicing pronunciation, intonation, fluency and linking. I find it's often best to let you the students read aloud, just so that you can improve on your English.
Now go to page 12 to read aloud the text to the recording.
II. Discovering useful words and expressions
Learning how to build a better vocabulary can be a pleasurable and profitable investment of both your time and effort. At least fifteen minutes a day of concentrated study on a regular basis can bring about a rapid improvement in your vocabulary skills, which in turn can increase your ability to communicate by writing, conversing, or making speeches. Acquiring a large vocabulary can benefit you in school, at work, and socially. Predicate in traditional grammarIn traditional grammar, a predicate is one of the two main parts of a sentence (the other being the subject, which the predicate modifies). The predicate must contain a verb and can contain objects or phrases governed by the verb. The predicate provides information about the subject, such as what the subject is doing or what the subject is like.
The relation between a subject and its predicate is sometimes called a nexus.
A Predicate Nominal is a noun phrase that functions as the main predicate of a sentence, such as "George III is the king of England", the king of England being the Predicate Nominal. The subject and predicate nominal must be connected by a linking verb, also called a copula.
A Predicate Adjective is an adjective that functions as a predicate, such as "Jenny is attractive", attractive being the Predicate. The subject and predicate adjective must be connected by a linking verb, also called copula.
