绥化学院本科大学英语课程教学质量评估自评报告绥化学院二〇一二年九月前言绥化学院是2004年升本的一所综合性院校。
升本以来,学校坚持“建设应用型大学,培养应用型人才”的办学方向,专业建设与办学规模有了较快发展,现有30个本科专业。
学校高度重视大学英语课程建设与管理工作。
根据2007年教育部发布的《大学英语课程要求》,我校加强了课程内容、教学方法、师资队伍等方面的建设工作,深化教学改革,取得了一定成效。
现将大学英语课程教学基本情况汇报如下:1、课程定位1.1 学校高度重视学校高度重视大学英语课程建设工作,党政领导经常对大学外语部进行听课、调研、访谈和检查,并给予一定的政策倾斜。
为加强大学英语教学管理,将大学外语部划归基础学院管理,承担全校公共英语课程,配备专门教学管理人员。
1.1.1 管理机构完善绥化学院大学英语课程管理工作由主管教学副校长领导,教务处统筹管理,教学质量监测中心、校院两级督导组进行教学质量常态监控。
日常教学由大学外语教研部进行具体安排管理,配备了5名专职管理人员。
大学外语部组织管理机构健全,政策、保障措施有力,满足了大学英语教学需求。
两个教研室按照分级教学原则开展教学活动。
2011年,为促进大学英语课程改革,提高英语教学水平,学校成立大学英语教学改革领导小组。
领导小组由主管教学副校长任组长,成员单位包括教务处、教学质量监测中心、大学英语教研部、资产处、财务处等部门。
1.1.2 支持政策有力和保障制度健全学校加大师资建设力度,在师资引进和培养、培训等方面给予政策倾斜。
加大大学英语教学仪器设备投入,2007年建成了大学英语自主学习中心,2012年购置了新网络自主学习平台,积极探索学生自主学习的有效途径和教学模式。
2011年,以分级教学、小班教学、免修管理等为改革的核心内容,出台了《绥化学院大学英语教学方案》。
完善了大学英语评估监控制度,开展了大学英语专项评估,促进了整体教学水平的提高。

大学英语教学大纲
教学对象
本大纲的教学对象是高等学校非英语专业的本科生。
入校时,她们应已掌握基本的英语语音、语法和语用知识,领会式掌握约多个单词(其中复用式掌握的单词为1300多个),并在读、听、写、说等方面受过初步的训练。
二、教学目的
发布的《大学英语课程要求》规定大学英语的教学目标是:培养学生的综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,使她们在今后的工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行口头和书面的信息交流。
《要求》相当最新的国家英语教学大纲,与以往强调培养学生具有较强的阅读能力和一定的听、说、写、译能力的大纲相比,在教学目标上发生了很大的变化。
三、教学要求
大学英语教学分基础阶段和应用提高阶段。
基础阶段从第一到第四学期,授课288学时,每学期72学时,第一学期周学时5,第二学期周学时4,第三学期周学时4,第四学期周学时5或6,基础阶段四个学期的英语课均为必修课,修满共获16学分,第四学期要求学生能经过全国大学英语四级统考,各级的具体要求见表1。
应用提高阶段在大学第三级和第四级。
各专业可根据自己学科的
特点选修或必修高级英语或专业科技英语,这一阶段可为四级经过,特别是六级经过的同学开设高级听说、写作、翻译、文学等课,我校应特别强调开设科技英语课,科技翻译课72学时,在第五、六学期开出,合4学分,每周2学时,各专业英语课在第七、八学期选修。
