这篇文章以对话的方式向人们展示了厦门市的地理位置气候以及城市概况等。
这样的方是式简洁且易于接受能使学生在对话间迅速了解这个城市的繁华感受它的魅力和体验它的独特风情。
阅读这篇课文后学生可以认识他们自己所在的城市。
本课内容包括学生相互描述自己所在的城市结合学生的实际情况对课文内容进行整合通过创设不同的有趣得情景活动使学生能够积极参与课堂活动主动踊跃地发言进行激烈的讨论并且主动表达自己的思想。
二、学情分析我所教的班级大部分学生基础比较薄弱词汇量小英语阅读能力相对较差学习也不是很积极。
另一方面由于刚升入高一初次接触较长篇幅的课文大多数学生都不会跳读、略读等阅读策略。
但是好的是大多数学生有学好英语的愿望希望自己能在新的阶段取得进步。
在课堂上他们能够尽力地配合老师用简单的英语进行表达。
对于这样一群学生我会尽量设置一些简单的阅读任务促进他们的成就感激发他们学英语的兴趣同时运用多媒体去启发他们思考主动地去参与并解决课堂上所设置的一些教学任务最终希望他们能在英语上有大的进步。
三、教学资源与策略本节课除外研版必修一教材、录音资料外还借鉴了学英语报和金色教案中的一些好的方面同时也通过互联网搜索了有关厦门的一些美丽的图片。
主要采用的教学策略有: 任务型阅读教学法和交际式教学法。
四、教学目标 1. 知识与能力 1掌握文中的词汇和语言点。
2理解文章大意并能完成相应阅读任务。
3) 能够复述文章并介绍自己的城市。
2. 过程与方法 1) 鼓励小组或搭档积极讨论参与课堂活动培养协作学习意识。
2) 运用多媒体激发学生的兴趣启发他们运用所学知识进行语言表达。

Blackboard DesignThrough the whole teaching, the students improve their reading abilities by using skimming, scanning and other reading skills. They can find the key words and some sentence structures when reading, and then understand the dialogue and retell it. The difficult point in teaching is to teach students how to analyze some key words, phrases and difficult sentences with the teacher’s explaining. I make various activities in the teaching process, such brainstorming, role-play, discussion and so on. The students behaved well in the class. However, there are some shortcomings in my teaching; for example, I pronounced the word island and the past form of build in the wrong way, which can be avoidable. I hope I can improve my teaching next time.。
Module 4 A Lively City(阅读课)随着新一轮高中课程改革的展开,信息技术给我国的教育事业带来了巨大的挑战。
信息技术在教学中的应用引起了教学内容、教学方法、教学组织形式等系列变化,导致了教学思想、教学观念以及教学体制在一定程度上的变化。
本案例就是借助于信息技术制造CAI课件,进行辅助教学一、学生分析教学对象是高一学生,英语基础知识和基本技能都是一般水平,英语学习兴趣不浓,因此,调动学生的学习兴趣,以学生主动学习为目标。
通过任务型课堂活动和学习,学生的学习自主性得到加强,不再认为英语课堂学习很枯燥,主动参与到活动中去,成为课堂的主体,同时也加强了与他人交流合作的能力。
本班学生的水平参差不齐,有些差距还相当大。
因此,在教学过程中,布置的任务要兼顾各个层次的学生,使他们都有所收获。
二、教材分析这一课是本单元第一个课时(阅读课),通过对话介绍厦门,了解厦门的地理环境、人文景观、城市建设、民风民俗等等。
但是,对话的形式使语言结构略显松散,学生无法在头脑中形成系统的语言框架。
因此,老师在此基础上又为学生提供了一篇比较全面的介绍厦门的小短文。
通过阅读短文,学生就会掌握一系列介绍城市的句型和词语。
例如:It consists of…, It situates in the south part of China…, on the south coast of China…, the climate is…, gorgeous等等。

每次阅读的策略不同,教师的阅读后活动也应该不相同。
例如在第一次阅读后,通常都会设置main idea 的问题;在第二次scanning阅读后,通常会设计有关文章细节信息的问题,目的是让学生尽快熟悉文章。
第三次阅读后设置一些深层次理解的问题。
例如评价性问题,发散思维的问题等,目的是让学生能够用所学的语言做事。
教师的阅读策略和方法应该与读后活动相匹配。
活动应该突出梯度性,不应该是原地踏步的活动多次出现。
