Antipyretic effects
Characteristic:
(a) NSAIDs just turn set point to normal without changing its regulatory effect on temperature, whereas, chlorpromazine impairs the ability of set point to regulate temperature; (b) NSAIDs can lower the higher temperature (fever) to normal, but not to under normal, whereas, chlorpromazine can make the temperature lower or higher than normal depending on the ambient temperature.
