Part One The analysis of teaching material
This lesson is from Module4 Unit I of New Standard English, the first term of Grade 4.The topic of this module is seek advice from others.For students in the future to learn the content of communication has a certain role in migration, so that students continue to enrich the accumulation of language knowledge.

Children of Grade 4 are also very curious about their class, and attention is easily divided.So. teachers should do a good job of regulation and controLThey like intuitive thinking.And especially interested in games, contests, self presentations, and active participation in classroom activities.

通过学习句型“Do you want some rice? Yes, please. / No, thank you.”来询问他人对食物的选择。

并了解中西方饮食文化的差异。

题材非常生活化，学生较感兴趣，易于理解。

这篇课文为整个模块的重点，为以后的学习奠定了基础。

Teaching aims:Knowledge aims:1.100%能够听懂，会说并认读本课的单词和短语：Chinese fast food2.能够听懂，会说、认读并能够运用目标语句“Do you want some …?”来询问对方对食物的选择，能够运用“Yes, please. / No, thank you.”来表明自己的选择。

Ability aims：积极与他人合作共同完成学习任务，培养学生的组织能力和合作精神。

ⅡThe analysis of students：四年级的学生活泼好动、好奇，好胜与好玩，模仿能力强，彼此也愿意交流，而且四年级的学生已经接触英语一年多了，虽然有了一定的英语基础，但是学生感知能力处于较直观的水平，因此教师选用歌曲、图片、游戏、视频、竞赛等较活泼、直观的活动让学生感知，吸引学生的注意力，激发他们的表达欲望，调动他们学习英语的积极性。

一、教学目标：1.知识目标：学会听、说、读fast food、make、difficult、chopstick2、语言技能目标：能运用句型：Do you want some … ?Yes please./ No thank you .来询他人进行日常的交流。

3、情感态度目标：采用多种活动途径和可视、可听的多媒体培养学生学习英语的兴趣，培养学生积极地参与和主动学习，让学生爱上英语。

4、学习策略目标：能通过所学的知识与实际生活联系进行英语交流。

二、教学重难点：重点： 1.会听、说、读、写本课新单词。

2.掌握句型“Do you want some…?”及答语。

难点：能在具体的情境中运用句子Do you want some…?并作出回答。

三、教具准备教师准备：多媒体课件，单词卡片，苹果、香蕉等实物，录音机，磁带。

学生准备：以前学过的食物卡片和实物。

四、教学过程Step1：Warming-up1.Say a chant：Noodles and rice。

【设计意图】：学生只有对英语学习有积极的感情，才能保持英语学习的动力。

因此，课前使用歌谣，让学生边说边做动作，充分调动学生的情绪，使学生经过热身进入一个学习语言的环境。

并呈现单词noodles, rice。

2、Freetalk屏幕出示食物图片单词，让学生用升降调一一齐读。

T：What do you like?S: I like ……（复习单词和句子）(apples, bananas, pears , noodles, rice, fish, meat……）【设计意图】：运用游戏来复习单词可以避免单调、枯燥的朗读，可以大大地调动学生的积极性，激发他们参与热情，从而提高学习效果。

Step2：Presentaion1.New words:(1)课件展示一些快餐的图片，引出fast food 这一单词，然后展示noodles、rice 和fish 的图片，引出Chinese fast food。

用歌曲《Hello,how are you》互相问候；演唱韵诗“Noodles and rice”。

Step2:Presentation and practice.呈现新知，趣味操练。

1．谈话导入。

教师边说Noodles and rice are very very nice边把noodle和rice 的卡片贴到黑板上。

接着说：Look,these are Chinese fast food.并对Chinese和fast food进行操练。

接着设置情境引出单词chopsticks ,difficult的学习。

在单词的操练中，采用游戏操练法，比如：看嘴型猜单词，看第一个字母说出单词以及快速记忆单词等等。
