whole 全部的;整体的,常用的结构:限定词+whole+名词。

三、【语法讲解】
1.none与nobody/no one区别
nobody:指人。
做主语时,谓语动词用单数。
回答由Who提问的问句。
e.g.:--Who is in the classroom? --Nobody/No one.
none:即可指人,也可指物。
“没有任何人或物”。
后可跟of,做主语时,谓语动词可单可复,强调数量。
回答由How many或How much提问的问句。
e.g.: --How much money do you have? --How many students are there in the classroom?--None.
nobody还有“小人物”的意思。
2.whole与all
whole(形容词)“整体的;全部的”。
限定词(冠词/物主代词/所有格等)+whole+可数名词单数. e.g.:The whole body was shaking。
整个身体都在颤抖。
all(adj)“全部的”。
all+限定词(定冠词the/物主代词/所有格等)+不可数名词或可数名词复数。
e.g.:all the money/all the country/all the students/all my life 一般来讲,whole 不能修饰复数可数名词,但是若复数可数名词前有具体的数量词时,则可以用whole 。
e.g. : three whole days / all three days
all与whole都可以用来修饰专有名词,但是用whole修饰专有名词时,一定要带of 。
e.g. : the whole of China/ all China
3.along、cross、across、through
along:“沿着”,水平方向直线运动
cross动词为“穿过,横穿”,名词为“十字,十字路口”
across为介词,“穿过,横穿”
through“穿过”,在空间或内部
4.find 强调“找的结果”,非延续性动词
find out“弄明白;查明”,强调“调查、研究”
look for“寻找”,强调“寻找的过程”,延续性动词词组
5.be made of...“由……制成”,能看出原材料。
be made from... “由……制成”,不能看出原材料。
6.voice,指人发出的声音。
sound,泛指人们听到的一切声音。
noise,指不悦耳的声音,如噪音、杂音、吵闹声等。
7.lead-led-led,动词,“带路;领路”
lead sb. to sp.带领某人去某地e.g.: I led him to the bus stop.
lead sb. to do sth.引导/致使某人做某事e.g.: The teacher lead us to finish all the work. lead sb. in doing sth.领导某人做某事The teacher lead us in finishing all the work. lead to 导致;通向,to为介词。
e.g. : All road lead to rome条条大路通罗马。
