(三)考试对象商务英语专业本科二年级学生。
(四)考试形式本考试包括笔试和口试两种形式,均采用机器考试的形式。
(五)考试时间与组织商务英语专业四级考试于每年12月份举行。
本考试由“全国商务英语专业考试委员会”组织有关测试专家命题,考试由高等学校商务英语专业四、八级考试委员会办公室负责具体实施。

三、考核要求和命题原则1.考核要求:商务英语口语要求考生具有如下实践能力:(1)能就所学课文内容和听懂的材料进行问答、复述和讨论;(2)能就作二、三分钟的即席发言,说话比较流利,语音语调自然,语法基本正确;(3)能在一般商务场合进行交谈,达到交际目的。

主要测试考生在日常语言交际和涉外业务中的口头翻译能力。

本部分有以下几种不同的题型:(a)在这一部分的指示说明结束之后,考生将依次听到并口头翻译3个中文单句;(b)考生在电脑屏幕上读到一个包含3个中文单句的段落。

商务英语口语技能考核商务英语专业的学生将来从事外贸、商务洽谈、随同翻译等涉外商务工作,商务英语口语是沟通交流必不可少的基本技能。
因此该专业学生在三年的学习期间,应注重对商务口语的训练,作为一项英语专业技能进行考核。
商务英语口语技能考核主要考查学生在商务交往过程中运用英文的能力。
考核要求:1、英语口语语音语调的正确性,表达的熟练和流利性。
2、熟练掌握基本商务英语词汇、短语和常用句型,能进行基本商务英语会话3、能应对基本的日常商务活动和外事接待工作,如:电话、会议、出行、接送、参观、宴请、购物、参观游览、娱乐等;4、能够应对外经贸业务活动的具体环节,如:询盘、报盘、商务谈判、付款、合同、保险、索赔及贸易方式等。
考核方式:口试1、考核由三部分组成,第一部分为问答交流,由评委老师根据题库中话题抽取2~3个进行提问,考生根据问题作答。
第二部分为个人阐述,围绕所抽题库题目的主题进行一段3分钟左右阐述。
第三部分为对话,考生按照两人一组进行一段4分钟左右的对话配合。

一、考核目标
商务英语口语是商务英语专业基础科段一门重要的实践课程,为商务英语专业(专科)考生的必考课程。
考生必须先通过专业笔试课程的考试后,才能取得参加《商务英语口语》考试的资格。
本课程将功能语言、词汇和口语技能的培训置于真实的商务场景之中,通过社交、电话、谈判、会谈等学习让考生掌握英语的实用技能和商务活动的操作技能,以满足实际工作的需要。
通过对本课程的系统学习,考生应能运用所掌握的商务知识和英语技能与母语为英语的人士进行正常的商务交际。
二、考核依据的教材
商务英语口语的指定教材为《新编商务交际英语听说教程》,由唐桂民、何勇斌编著,广东高等教育出版社出版。
教材由17个单元组成, 包括求职、日常办公事务、打电话、出差、公司介绍、产品介绍、产品促销、公司成就与发展、商务晚餐、商务谈判、订货、支付方式、运输、包装、投诉与处理投诉、保险、股市等方面内容。
每单元中听力活动(Listening Activities)、示范对话(Model Dialogue)和语言要点(Language Focus) 为核心部分。
要求考生熟悉商务交际的基本环节,掌握不同场景里的主要表达方式。
三、考核要求和命题原则
1.考核要求:
商务英语口语要求考生具有如下实践能力:
(1)能就所学课文内容和听懂的材料进行问答、复述和讨论;
(2)能就作二、三分钟的即席发言,说话比较流利,语音语调自然,语法基本正确;
(3)能在一般商务场合进行交谈,达到交际目的。
2.考试形式
商务英语口语考试现场设侯考室、备考区和主考室。
考生在侯考室等候,即将考试的两位考生在备考区领取考生用卷并准备考试,准备约5分钟后,将考生用卷退还给监考员,随即进入主考室应考。
主考室设两名主考官,两位考生同时进入主考室,合作完成考试中的各个部分,两名主考官分别对两位考生各自的表现评分,取平均值为该位考生的最后得分。
如遇考场内考生为单数无法组对,则由一名主考官与考生组对完成考试,两名主考官按前述方法评定其得分。
3.考试题型
商务英语口语考试分为三部分:热身对话、对话朗读、角色扮演。
第一部分热身对话,由主考官就一些日常话题用英语询问考生,主要考核考生的日常会话能力。
例如:

What sort of school did you go to?
What do you think of your job? Are you satisfied with it?
Will you please introduce yourself?
Do you often surf the internet?
What do you think are the advantages and disadvantages of the internet?
第二部分对话朗读,考生分A,B两个角色,用正确的语音语调流利地朗读150-200字的英语商务对话。
A角和B角所分配对话的用词量及难度应大致相当,以保证每位考生有均等的机会展示语音语调。
例如:
A: Good morning, sir.
B: Good morning. My name is John Smith. I’m from Australia.
A: How do you do, Mr. Smith? I am Li Ming, Export Manager of Guangzhou Light Industry Corporation.
B: How do you do, Mr. Li? Nice to meet you.
A: Pleased to meet you, too. Mr. Smith, is there anything I can do for you?
B: Your exhibits look very nice. Can I have a look at them?
A: Sure. Come on in.

第三部分角色扮演,由两位考生就指定的场景和角色完成情景对话,对话内容要涵盖准备材料中的要点。

在准备期间,两位考生只能独立准备自己要扮演的角色,不能告知对方自己的角色或与对方讨论如何进行对话。
例如:A:You are Mr./Mrs. Derek Trevor with Sydney International Trading Co.Ltd. You are going to attend the Guangzhou Trade Fair to be held in October. You are going to take this opportunity to meet with Mr. Li, General Manager of Guangzhou Import & Export Corporation to talk over some important matters during your stay in Guangzhou. You’re calling to make an appointment. Make up a dialogue with B for about 4—5 minutes. The following is your diary.
B: You are Mr. Li’s secretary, who is General Manager of Guangzhou Import & Export Corporation. Mr. Li is wanted on the phone, but he is now on a business trip to Hong Kong. 4. 评分标准
商务英语口语考试总分为100分,评分标准如下:
语音语调:考生发音正确清晰、语调自然,可得各部分该项标准对应的最高分;发音错误、含混影响意思表达,语调不自然等酌情扣减。
流利程度:考生能以正常的语速朗读或流畅表达,可得各部分该项标准对应的最高分;语速过慢、长时间停顿或表达不流畅等酌情扣减。
内容组织:热身对话部分,考生切题充分、能组织丰富的内容、语法及用词正确,可得该项标准对应的最高分;偏题、内容过少、语法及用词错误等则酌情扣减。
角色扮演部分,考生对话内容完整正确的体现了准备材料中的信息,语法及用词正确,可得该项标准对应的最高分;信息体现有误或不全,语法及用词错误等酌情扣减。
