教具准备: 1.教师应准备自己的名字卡及本课主要人物的头饰; 2.要求学生准备一个面具,并制作一个写有本人姓名的头饰。
教学过程: 一、热身、复习 (Warm-up/Revision) 1.唱“Hello”歌 2.师生互相问候Hello! /Hi! 3.学生将胸卡戴在胸前,分别起立做自我介绍。
如: (1)Hello, I’m Mary. (2)Hi! I’m Peter.二、呈现新课 (Presentation) 1.老师指着自己的英文名卡说Hello! I’m Miss/Mr…. 然后用My name’s…. 反复说三到四遍自己的名字,速度由慢到正常。
接着教师对一名学生发问What’s your name? (用清晰、缓慢的语调问两遍)边问边指他/她的名卡,并可以用夸张的口型提示他/她回答My name’s….教师对第一个应答学生应重点表扬,并发给他/他小奖品,以次鼓励学生认真听别人的问答,努力模仿教师说的新句型。
用类似的方法在教室里与学生进行问答练习,注意引导学生用My name’s….回答问题。
2.跟读、模仿What’s your name? 注意学生对name一词中 a 的发音。
3.教道别语See you.,告诉学生其中意思是“再见”或“一会见”。
教师同时可介绍一下英语中有许多单词是一词多意,在不同情景中表示的意义不同。
Welcome 还有不必表示感谢的意思,当对方说Thank you. 谢谢的时候,通常可以回答 You are welcome. 表示“不用谢”或“不客气”。

教学难点:较准确读出各单词,尤其是crayon,eraser 两个单词的发音。
教具准备:1.教学课件2.本课相应的文具(实物)和教师卡片3.学生用卡片教学过程:一、热身、复习 (Warm-up/Revision)1.师生共唱英语歌曲“Hello”2.请几名学生带上Sarah, Wu Yifan等人物的面具或头饰,表演见面打招呼或自我介绍用语:Hello, Sarah! Hi, Wu Yifan!3.游戏游戏为“听声音,识朋友”,教师请几名学生到讲台前,其他学生蒙住眼睛,讲台前的几名学生之一变换语音语调和名字说Hello. I’m…蒙住眼睛的学生们猜是谁说的话,猜对的学生为本组得一分。
还可以改为让蒙住眼睛的一名学生猜,是谁说的Hello,如果猜中,要说Yes, I’m… 如果猜错,要说No, I’m…猜对得一分。

二、呈现新知 (Presentation)1.利用课件呈现新知[图一] 本册教材主要人物之一“小棕熊”的生日,一群朋友聚集在生日蛋糕的周围。
教师通过图片指引学生说出今天是“小棕熊”的生日,让学生们一起唱英文生日歌,并提示“Happy birthday to you”是“祝你生日快乐”的意思。
教师介绍“小棕熊”的爸爸、妈妈为他买了个新书包作为生日礼物(拿出准备好的实物)。
[图二]小棕熊打开书包,一一拿出蜡笔、铅笔、钢笔、橡皮、尺子,边拿文具边说英文crayon, pencil, pen, eraser, ruler。
文具展示出来后停留在画面上,不消失。
2.学习新知在初步了解新知后,教师给学生出示文具,教新单crayon, pencil, pen, eraser, ruler。
教学时,如果遇到有的学生能力较强,可充分发挥学生的潜能,在老师指导下由学生教学生,学生检查学生。
Unit 5 Numbers教学说明:1.通过第一课的学习,孩子们对英语有了初步的了解,对英语学习有了较浓厚的兴趣。
(游戏激发了他们的兴趣)2.了解后知到,班级中有一半同学会用“Hello”跟别人打招呼,其中有5人还会介绍自己。

二、教材分析《先锋英语》Book IA,Unit 5 这一单元的主题是Numbers,学习数字、交通工具、玩具、表达名词的复数,一首数字歌和学习四个以字母暗线编排的新单词insect, ink, jacket和jeep,以及含有这四个单词的一首儿歌等内容。
由于内容较多,本单元计划安排五课时。
Lesson 1 为这一单元的第一课时,主要学习数字one~five,以及与数字有关的表达How many。
对于数字1~5的英语说法,大多数孩子较为熟悉,应注意正音,特别是three |θri:| 较难掌握。
在有意义的情意中,学习How many句型,理解数字与“多少”的联系,为后面学习名词的复数形式作铺垫。
《英语课程标准》(实验稿)强调课程从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的综合语言运用能力。
结合我区小学英语“自主协同式”教学模式,本课教学力求让学生在协同玩演和拓展运用的过程中,达到交流熟用语言的目的,并在学生学习过程中及时进行评价,将老师的评价与学生的评价有机结合,培养和激发学生学习的积极性,促进学生综合语言运用能力和健康人格的发展,帮助他们建立学习的成就感和自信心。
三、学校及学生状况分析我校属城市小学,电教设施配备齐全,教学条件较好。
但是教学班额太大,每班六十多人;课时较少,每周两节;极不利于语言教学。
一部分孩子在幼儿园或学前班接触过少量英语,大多数孩子属初识英语。
这些一年级的孩子天真、活泼、大胆、热情、积极,对英语学习兴趣浓烈,他们喜欢说、唱、玩、演、做游戏、比赛等活动,且乐于表现自己。
但他们的注意力不易持久,无意注意占主要,所以宜尽量采用活动式教学法并贯穿整个教学过程。

书本第22页
1.让学生打开书看鸡蛋图。
教师指着它说:“This is an egg.”
2.放录音,教师边听边指相应的图。
3.再放一遍录音,请学生边听边指相应的图。
4.第三遍放录音,让学生听录音并重复单词:egg。
5.用同样的步骤教elephant。
6.再以同样的方式教单词fish, frog。
Say the rhyme
书本第22页
1.教师将歌谣念给学生听,并用手依次指每个单词。
2.将歌谣的大意讲给学生听。
3.把录音完整地放一遍,让学生边听录音边指这一页上的词和相应图。
4.再放一遍录音让学生一起参与,鼓励他们拍手来掌握节奏。
5.要求学生整体地去学习、模仿歌谣,不过多地讲单词、句子。
6.说歌谣时加一些动作,让学生表演。
Trace and say
书本第23页
1.教师将一些图片贴在教室的黑板上(frog, fish, elephant等),指着一位学生说:“Show me a (fish).”让这位学生指出鱼的图片。
继续让其他学生练习本单元其它词汇。
2.教师说:“Open your books.”让学生翻开看该页上的图。
3.告诉学生他们将临摹书上的图,并且说出每一个词。
4.学生给自己的画涂色并与其他学生相互欣赏。
如果有时间,可以请个学生举起他们的书,指着物体说出单词。
Homework : 把涂好颜色的画给父母欣赏。
