《威康米特木材公司》
在麦尼的威康米特木材公司最近生产的木材产品严重滞销,公司的老板;赛
格莫达深为公司的产品销路忧虑。
雷诺建筑公司位于罗的岛,最近由于搞不到需要的木材,已使得电工、管
工和木工无法工作,雷诺到处找材料,最后与赛格莫达作了接触,雷诺先生准
备亲自去麦尼与赛格莫达面谈。
问:
1.赛格莫达要能向雷诺公司卖出木材,应克服什么市场障碍?
2.赛格莫达应怎样运用市场营销的基本职能,才能增加向雷诺公司卖出
木材的可能性?

案例分析二:
《燕美粉为何试销受挫》
以往的减肥方法,大多以禁食为手段,肥胖者在减肥同时,身体体能往往
随之下降。除此之外,另有一类减肥办法,虽能克服体能下降的毛病,减肥效
果又不甚理想。
北京华维技术开发公司依据人体科学原理,开辟出以“吃”减肥的新途
径,开发出一种名为燕美粉的新食品。成年人每天摄入四十克燕美粉,即能保
证人体每天所需的营养和热量,既有饱腹感,又能有效减肥。每天减体重零点
二五公斤至零点七公斤,每天减腰零点五厘米至一厘米,是目前最理想的减肥
食品之一。北京东安商场一名女营业员体重原为七十公斤,尝试过多种减肥办
法,效果均不理想。食用燕美粉后,体重降为五十五公斤,精神饱满,体能充
沛。
但是,这样一种功效显著的食品,投放市场之初,销售并不理想。在长达
四十多天的销售期里,仅仅卖出几十袋产品,少到如同开玩笑!后又参加一个
食品订货会,燕美粉竟没有订出一分钱。
燕美粉在上市之初,公司举办了新闻发布会,向社会各界介绍燕美粉,继
而赞助中央电视台节目晚会,燕美粉通过电视向亿万观众致意问候。同时,燕
美粉摆进北京城区二十多家大中零售商店――尽管在进店问题上燕美粉遇到一
点小小的麻烦,但毕竟有了与消费者见面的机会。
产品很好,也进行了初步宣传,购买虽不似打酱油那般方便,可总不至于
象唐僧取经那样历尽艰辛,才能修得正果呀。唯一的可能是市场原本就不大,
