lesson 7
教学目标：通过恐龙话题，继续学习过去事件的表达，了解
英语中动词过去时态的用法。

教学重点：
1.用过去时叙述已经发生的事情：
last friday, the children had social studies.
they learned about a very interesting topic.
miss liu told them about some animals.
2.介绍恐龙的语句：
dinosaurs lived millions of years ago.
dinosaurs were huge animals.
教学难点：
1.了解被动语态：these animals are called dinosaurs.
2.no more 的用法。

3.会翻译we can only find their bones dinosaurs.
4.知道dinosaurs 的活动方式：some ran very fast, but some only walked slowly. some could fly.
5.知道dinosaurs 按吃的方式来分种类：
some dinosaurs ate grass and plants and some ate meat.
教具准备：
有关恐龙的挂图，教学挂图，录音磁带、活动手册。

教学过程：
一、warming-up.
1.让学生用was 或were讲述一件昨天发生的事情。

2.听写四会句子：
last week, we learned about some interesting animals.
二、presentations.
1.teacher take out a dinosaurs’ picture and ask the students: what’s this? 引导学习dinosaurs单词。

2.向学生出示本课的教学挂图，播放本课的录音。

通过图片
以及教师的体态语言引导学生学习理解有关描写恐龙动作的动词。

3.老师出示问题，让学生带着问题看图并通过认真听录音找
出答案。

what did they do last friday?
what did they learn?
when did dinosaurs live?
what did they eat?
can you find dinosaurs today.
4.播放两遍录音，让学生独立回答以上问题，只以保护学生的积极性。

5.再次播放录音，引导学生模仿跟读。

三、practice.
1.齐心合力：将本课的内容事先复印好并剪成条，每一条有本课的一句话，将句子条放到信封里，每组发一套。

让学生通过小组合作将句子排列好顺序。

2.完成活动手册的第一题。

3.完成活动手册的第三题。

四、additional activities.
让学生从不同的途径搜集一些有关已经灭绝或濒临灭绝的珍稀动物的资料，如：图片、名称、年代、所吃的东西等，并作整理和记录。
