本节课是第九模块的第一单元,是一节听说课型的新授课。
作为本模块的第一单元,它为第二、三单元不仅提供了话题和语境,同时也为二、三单元的学习扫清了语言障碍。
在第一单元中,学生的活动围绕贝蒂和妈妈通过电话介绍同伴正在做的事情展开。
通过对话的学习,了解其中人物在游长城时正在做什么以及感知现在进行时的用法,对话中贝蒂母亲表示很喜欢长城,可以以此来培养学生的民族自豪感。

教学反思:本课以动物为话题,以对话的形式,学习一般现在时第三人称单数作主语的疑问句及其回答。
从本课的课堂观察看,学生思维活跃,勇于发表自己的见解,课堂参与的积极性高,合作意识较强,口语表达能力强。
在完成任务的过程中,学生的学习方式既有自主学习,又有合作学习和研究性学习,体现了以学生为主体的教学原则,任务完成的结果由学生提供自我评价、小组评价标准,使其产生成就感,并能转化为后续学习的动力。
一是在自然和谐的师生问答中,将重点语法:一般现在时第三人称单数作主语的疑问句及其回答贯穿始终。
在教学中,以一般现在时第三人称单数作主语的疑问句及其回答为主线,借助多媒体课件,将各种不同的动物依次展示出来,学习有关的生词,短语和对话。
在词汇学习的过程中,始终不离对话,而对话中始终不离语法,真正做到了词不离句,句不离语法。
二是导课及各个教学环节的过渡自然。
根据各个环节内容的需要,或借助音乐,或借助图片,或通过直接问答和出示句子结构的形式,将所学的知识前后连贯,环环相接,使整个教学过程给人以一气呵成,天然而就的感觉。
三是课堂练习设计精确,且体现了一定的梯度。
本节课自始至终做到了讲练结合,而每一练习的设计,或口头或书面都作了精心设计。
随着教学环节的步步深入,练习的难度也逐渐加深。
