【教材分析】 新目标英语教学案例分析
厦门市湖滨中学 程晖
这是新目标英语八年级下Unit 5的第一课时,是
以Section A的la至2c为教学内容的听说操练课。 Unit 5的中心话题是“decision making”。通过本单元
学习,要求学生掌握用be doing/be going to结构表
示按计划、安排即将发生的动作或打算做某事。同时通 过学习新的知识点if引导的条件状语从句的结构及 用法,进而学会用它们来谈论因果关系。Section A的
la、1b、1c围绕go to the pany这一话题展开听力和会 话训练,呈现本单元的目标语言,并练习“if+will”的条 件状语从甸句型:2a、2b、2c围绕how to organize the
party这一话题进行听力、会话训练,进一步练习目标 句型,同时学习decision making的表达法。
【学情分析】
本课的教学对象是我校初二(2)班学生,该班多数 学生喜欢或重视英语,有良好的课堂学习习惯(认真听 讲、积极参与、坚持记笔记等)和一定的课后自学能力
(查字典、上网搜集信息等),普遍喜欢教师用多媒体开 展英语教学,喜欢和适应快节奏、大容量的课堂教学。 多数学生通过八年级上Unit 3和Unit 10的学习,已
熟练掌握be doing/be going to结构,因此本课我重 点强调if引导的条件状语从句以及在交际中谈论因 果关系和作出决定是否做某事。
【教学过程】
Step l:Warming-up 播放Flash歌曲If you ore happy。
设计意图:课前循环播放这首歌,为学生创设轻松 自然的学习氛围。歌词中有大量含If的句子,帮助学 生作好热身。
Step 2:Leading——in 1.Greeting with class as usual

the screen) 设计意图:通过问谁的生日在3月导出Party这
话题,并自然导入本课重点词组:have a good time, go to the party,have a party。该环节自然过渡到新知 识的传授,既吸引学生注意力,又能活跃课堂气氛。
Step 3:Present if clause 1.Presentation
T:I have a piece of good news.Some Germany exchange students are going to visit our school to—
morrow.They are going to study in our class for 1 5 days.Let’S organize a welcome party,shall we?(Show “organize组织”on the screen) Ss:Good idea. T:Let’s discuss and make a plan for it. T:Where will you have the party,at the school

hall or in the classroom? S ̄:We will have the party in the classroom. T:So we can say:If we have a welcome party,
we will have the pany in our classroom. (Write the sentence on the blackboard)
T:When will we have the party,on Tuesday or on Friday?Why? S2:Wc shouldn’t have it on Tuesday.Because we will have classes next day.
T:Will you take part in the party if we have it on Tuesday? S3:No,we won t We have to do our homework,
so we will go home early.
T:So,we should have it on Friday.ff we have the party on Tuesday,some students will go home early,and they won’t take part in the party.(Write
the sentence on the blackboard) T:What clothes will you wear,school uniform or
fashionable clothes?Why? Sd:1 will wear fashionable clothes.1 want to look

2.Pairwork
Show some pictures on the screen and ask stu— dents to do pairwork.
Sample: A:What will happen if we have the party on
Tuesday? B:Some students will go home early,and they won’t take part in the party.
3.Find the rule T:Look at the sentences on the blackboard.Who

T:In if clause we can use the Simple Present Tense,and we can use the Future Tense in main
clause. 设计意图:①我依据每年都有德国交流学生来我
校学习这一真实背景,创设下周一些德国学生要来我 们班的情境,求得情感共鸣;②帮助学生用尚不熟悉的 句式表达自己的想法,为后面的教学环节作好必要准
备;③用已经学过的will+动词句式做为衔接新旧知识
的“桥梁”,既激活相应的旧知识,又减缓新知识的“坡
度”;④让学生通过观察,体会出if条件状语从句的一
般规则。
Step 4:Practice if clause 1.Guessing game 2.Competition(Show some pictures to practise if
clause) 设计意图:①让学生通过做游戏的形式说if引导
的条件状语从句,既操练新句型,又增强学生的学习 兴趣;②根据教师提供的情境回答问题,不仅刺激学
生思考问题,还让教师及时了解学生对if引导的条件
状语从句的认知情况,并给予必要的帮助,适时调整 课堂教学节奏;③Competition环节采用小组竞赛策 略,目的在于激励学生多说,通过大量的说达到语言
的内化和输出。
Step 5:Listening
1.Task 1 Section A 1a&1b 2. I sk 2:Section A 2a&2b 设计意图①第一个听力练习与连线任务相搭配, 目标较低,有利于使学生产生成就感,树立自信心;②
第二个听力练习设置了听写结合的训练,学生边听录
音材料边将重要信息写下来,这有助于发展学生“细 听、牢抓、速记”的学习策略。
