Introduction
This is report is based on the survey on MUST library, one of the many services available at
MUST. The survey was conducted with MMS students at MUST on 3 -4 October 2011. The
number of the students who filled the questionnaire is eighteen students. The questionnaire
consists of six main question with some additional detailed questions about students, also about
their satisfaction levels on different areas of library’s facilities and services.

1.1Objective of the research
Recognizing the methodological and substantive challenges, MUST Library face in
understanding and responding to the satisfaction of the users (including teacher and student) ,the
research is using applied research and it seeds to:
 Understand the users satisfaction of all the services, and what they think is right.
 Improve the library’s service and facilities.
 Generate a better qualitative understanding of MUST library.

1.2Methods of the research
We use questionnaires to collect data, we also set up the satisfaction of the Project in " five-point
method. That is "Very dissatisfied / Dissatisfied / Common / Satisfied / Very satisfied / multiple
choice is invalid.

2. Data structure and Definitions
2.1 The populations of the MMS students are 100 people , and the samples are 72 people. And this
is ordinal data ,this data only show their relationship to each other, but they do not give us actual
values to tell how much difference there is. Ordinal data almost always starts at 1 and progresses in
order to some number that is equal to the n of the original data.
And we used closed answers in the 5-point Likert scale (describing relation to event, or process, or
situation):
1 = Very dissatisfied
2 = Dissatisfied,
3 = Common,
4 = Satisfied,
5 = Very satisfied.
