三 Language points : 1. Now that winter is behind us, many people are starting to think about going abroad for the summer holidays. now that 既然，表示原因，通常用于句首。 e.g. Now that you do not like dancing, then you will not attend the party. 既然你不喜欢跳舞， 那么你就别参加舞会了。 用now that 说明原因，语气比because 婉转。 2. Why not spread your wings and visit France? why not 意思是“为什么不呢”一般用在疑问句中，表示提建议 why not 后加动词原形 e.g. Why not have a picnic this afternoon? why not = why don't you 3. It is amazing to drive past fields which seem to go on forever. It is + adj. =to do sth. 做 ... 是令人 ... e.g. It is exciting for us to climb mountains tomorrow. 4.
