General DescriptionThe MAX220–MAX249 family of line drivers/receivers isintended for all EIA/TIA-232E and V.28/V.24 communica-tions interfaces, particularly applications where ±12V isnot available. These parts are especially useful in battery-powered sys-tems, since their low-power shutdown mode reducespower dissipation to less than 5µW. PISTON COOLING
Piston Cooling Valve
After flowing through the filter elements, the main oil flow out of the filter head is routed into the main oil rifle. A small amount of the main oil flow is routed to the piston cooling valve. The piston cooling valve is located in the lower part of the filter head. The valve is normally closed, opening at 19 to 29 PSI. When the valve opens, oil flow into the piston cooling rifle and to the individual piston cooling nozzles.
Cooled oil exiting the elements is directed through the centre of the block to the oil filter head.

Oil Pump
The oil pump is located on the front, right side of the block. It is a gear type pump and is driven by the front gear train. The oil pump picks up oil from the sump through a suction tube.
