二、知识点大汇总
1、后接动词不定式的动词短语:
ask sb. to do sth. “叫…做…”
tell sb. to do sth. “告诉…做…”
want sb. to do sth. “想让…做…”
invite sb. to do sth. “邀请…做…” 否定形式在不定式前加not
wish sb. to do sth. “希望…做…”
try to do sth. “试着做…”
encourage sb. to do sth.“鼓励…做…”
2、“在…前面” *in the front of… (表示在范围之内)
*in front of… (表示在范围之外)
e.g:There are some trees in front of my house. (树在房子外面)
The desk is in the front of our classroom. (桌子在教室里)
3、interest, surprise, excite的用法
+ing的形式(interesting, surprising, exciting)修饰事物
+(e)d的形式(interested, surprised, excited)修饰人
e.g: The book is very interesting. (修饰书有趣)
I am interested in the book. (指人对书感兴趣)
*固定搭配:be interested in… “对…感兴趣”
be surprised at… “对…感到惊奇”
To one’s surprie “令某人惊奇的是” (常用于句首)
4、have fun doing… “做…有趣” (have fun之的要跟动名词)
e.g: We had fun picking up apples on the farm.
5、分数的用法:
*分子用基数词,分母用序数词;
*当分子大于1时,分母要变为复数;
*当分数作主语时,谓语动词的单复数由被修饰的名词决定;
注:二分之一只能说成a half
带分数借助and来表达 e.g: one and two-fifths
e.g: Three-fifths students are boys. (被修饰词students是复数,谓
语也用复数形式)
Three-fifths water is fresh water. (被修饰词water不可数,谓
语用单三形式)
三、重点句型小结
1、Why not…? “为什么不…?” 后接动词原形;
相当于 “Why 助动词+not you do…? ” (助动词由时态决定)
e.g: Why not go to school?
=Why didn’t you go to school?
2、too…to… “太…而不能…”
not…enough to do sth. “不够…而不能…”
So…that… “如此…以至于…”
e.g: I’m too excited to said a word. 我兴奋得连话都说不出来。
She is not old enough to go to school. 她还不够不,不能去上学。
The book is so boring that noboy likes it.
那本书如此乏味以至于没有人喜欢它。
四、语法知识小结:宾语从句
*作用:在复合句中充当宾语成份的句子就是宾语从句。
*引导词:that引导陈述句;(可省略)
what, where等疑问词引导特殊疑问句;
if, whether 引导一般疑问句。(两词可互换。但只有
whether…or not的结构,其中whether不能换为if )
e.g: The teacher says (that) English is important for us.
He asked me what the time was.
I want to know if/whether he will come. (可互换)
I want to know whether he is a worker or not. (不能用if换)
*时态搭配:
①主句用一般现在时态,从句该用什么时态就用什么时态;
②主句用一般过去时态,从句变为相应的过去时态;
③当从句表达的是客观真理、定理或永恒不变的事物时,不管
主句用什么,从句都要用一般现在时态。
e.g: Tom says (that) he will go to Beijing next week.
Tom said (that) he would go to Beijing next week.
Our teacher told us (that) the moon runs around the earth.
