《中西文化比较与翻译》课程教学大纲 课程代码:TB0518A 课程名称:中西文化比较与翻译 英文名称:Cultural Comparisons and Translation between English and Chinese 课程类别:大学英语通识课课 先修课程:大学英语 一、二 总学分/总学时:32 理论学时/实验学时: 0 适用专业: 非英语专业本科生 考核方式:考试 一、课程简介: 《中西文化比较与翻译》是非英语专业大学生提高阶段的一门个性必修通识英语课程,授课对象为非英语专业二年级本科学生。课程内容涵盖中国古代神话和哲学、中国饮食文化、中国的传统节日、时间观念、中国人的面子观念、中国的语言文字、五行与中医、中国生肖属相文化等八个专题。 课程旨在为学生开拓视野,提高文化鉴赏能力及语言实践应用能力。在语言和文化教学过程中,培养学生的文化自觉、文化自信、文化认同、文化甄别与批判、文化传承与创新发展能力。课程教学坚持立德树人,以社会主义核心价值观为引领,在课程教学过程中,秉承多元文化平等理念,培育具有中国情怀,国际视野,跨文化沟通能力的社会主义建设者和接班人。 二、课程目标 通过本课程的学习,学生应具备以下几方面的目标: 1.知识: 本课程通过八个专题,重点介绍国内外翻译理论的发展沿革及最新研究成果和基本理论、翻译标准及翻译策略和翻译技巧;掌握中西文化的主要差异,了解和介绍汉英翻译的基本知识和基本技能。 2.能力:理论与实践相结合,以英汉翻译实践为主,进行大量的课外翻译练习,提高学生的翻译水平和译文鉴赏能力,培养学生的文化自觉、文化自信、文化认同、文化甄别与批判、文化传承与创新发展能力。 3.素质: 培养学生的中西文化鉴赏和甄别能力及中西文化整合能力,提升大学生的语言综合运用能力和跨文化交际能力。提升大学生中国文化自信,具有中国情怀,国际视野,跨文化沟通能力的社会主义建设者和接班人。 三、教学内容与预期学习成效 知识单元 课程目标 预期学习成效 教学内容 教学活动 学时分配
