T: OK, now let us review the process of making a bananas milk shake
together.

Step 2 Lead in (12 mins)

want to know more about such delicious things like this?

The teacher shows the pictures of some fruit salad and let students
point out the ingredients and write them on the blackboard. The teacher organizes a brainstorming activity to motivate more
nouns about fruit salad, then write them on the blackboard.
By grouping those words into countable and uncountable categories,
the teacher introduces “how many” and“how much” to ask the
amounts of needed ingredients.
T: We have learnt enough about fruit salad. There are two
girls---Maria and Katie, they are trying to make fruit salad
themselves. Let us learn from them to make delicious fruit salad.
Step 3 Presentation (10 mins)

2a---First listening, complete the chart of mentioned ingredients.
2b---Listen again, fill the second chart. (If necessary, listen for a

The teacher asks the students to notice the process of making fruit
salad.

the ingredients to strengthen countable and uncountable nouns with
the students, which also lay a foundation of homework.
