（三）语法知识
1 一般现在时，第三人称单数作主语时，动词的变化规则。
（1）一般在动词后加-s词尾。如，come-comes live-lives
（2）在以ch, sh ,s, x, 或o结尾的词后要加-es, 如，
teach-teaches catch-catches wish-wishes wash-washes
miss-misses guess-guesses mix-mixes fix-fixes
go-goes do-does
（3）以“辅音+y”结尾的词，先变y为I 再加es,如，
Try-tries study-studies reply-replies fly-flies
2 主语为第三人称单数时一般现在时的结构
（1）肯定式：主语+ 谓语动词的第三人称单数+其他。
He likes bananas a lot. 他非常喜欢吃香蕉。
（2）否定式：主语+助动词（doesn’t）+动词原形+其他。
She doesn’t like milk.她不喜欢喝牛奶。
（3）疑问式：助动词（Does）+主语+动词原形+其他
肯定回答：Yes, 主语+does.
否定回答：No, 主语+doesn’t.
-Does Kate like meat? 凯特喜欢吃肉吗？
-Yes, she does. 是的，她喜欢。
-No, she doesn’t. 不，她不喜欢。
3 like的用法
（1）Like可以当介词，意思是“象。。。。一样”，如，
You are like your father. 你长得象你爸爸。
Lucy’s hat looks like my cat. Lucy的帽子看起来象我的猫。
（2）Like做动词的主要用法：
1) like+sth
She likes vegetables. 她喜欢蔬菜。
2）like+doing sth
We both like swimming. 我们都喜欢游泳。
3）like to do
He likes to cook. 他喜欢做饭。
4）like sb, to do
I don’t like him to eat like that. 我不喜欢他吃东西的那个样子。
5）like„a lot=like„very much非常喜欢
My mother likes cooking very much.我母亲非常喜欢做饭。
6）like„a little有点喜欢
I like playing games a little.我有点喜欢游戏。 7）not like „at all 一点也不喜欢
Fang Ming doesn’t like eggs at all. 方明一点也不喜欢吃鸡蛋。
4 词语辨析
like doing 与 like to do
两者的意思差不多，都是“喜欢做某事”的意思。但也有微小的差别，在英国英语里，like doing指喜欢一般性的事物，而like to do指喜欢特定的事物，而在美语中则无明显区别。如，I like
reading. But I don’t like to read now. 我喜欢读书，但现在不想看。
