Smoking cigarettes is not only a disgusting and smelly habit, but also very bad for your health. It has been proven to cause cancer, lung disease, and heart disease, and to weaken your immune system. Smoking makes it a lot harder to breathe, which means it’s more difficult to play sports and get the exercise you need to stay healthy. It’s also harmful for those hanging around a smoker, because they breathe the smoky air. Even though most people know how bad smoking is for them, more than 1,000 people die each day from its effect!

Last summer, the weather was hotter than usual, so my family and I decided to go to Dalian and spend a few days there. On the first day, we all got up early and went to the beach to watch the sun rising. We looked to the east. The clouds were reddish, and then turned bright red. Soon the sun slowly appeared and began to rise. The sky around the sun was very bright. The sight was so beautiful that we would never forget. The next day, we visited the Shengya Ocean Park. It lies by the sea. The most attractive part was standing on the conveyor belt to enjoy the beautiful view under the sea. Through the glass, we could see colorful fish swimming around us. It felt like I was a member of them. Leaving the tunnel under the sea, we went to watch sea lion show. Their lovely face and clumsy body made us laugh a lot. On the third day, we went to swim in the sea. The wave slapped on us slightly. It seemed we were lying in mum’s arms. During our stay in Dalian, we enjoyed beautiful scenery and ate a lot of sea food. What a relaxing and pleasant trip!
