not only…but also 意思是“不但….而且…..”。
如：
He can not only speak Chinese but also English.
他不仅会说中文还会说英语。
[注意] 当not only…but also 连接两个主语的时候, 谓语动词应与最近的那一个主语在人称和数上保持一致。
如：
他和他妈妈都喜欢游泳。

in addition to意为“另外；除……以外(还有)”, 后可接名词、代词或动名词；此外, in addition to “除……之外,另外”, 往往位于句首, 说明补充内容。
