高考经常考察连词的基本用法，基本搭配，表示的句间逻辑关系和从属连词的考察。

知识归纳：连词是一种虚词，它不能独立担任句子成分，只起连接作用，连接词与词、短语与短语，或句与句。

如：He is good at English and French.连词分为：1. 并列连词2. 从属连词并列连词：连接平行的词，词组或分句They saw the students dancing and singing. 并列连词and连接两个对称的成分。

从属连词：连接名词性从句（即主、宾、表、同位语从句），副词性从句（状语从句）、形容词性从句（定语从句）。
