教学目标:

通过阅读文章,学生掌握新词汇、重点句型,提高阅读水平

帮助学生理解本文主人公以及他在艰苦环境下充当路标的举动

2、教学难点:如何使学生更积极地参与课堂活动,培养学生发散思维的能力
教学策略
我主要采用启发式教学法、活动探究法、质疑点拨法、任务型教学法、分析归纳法、图解分析法、真实语境教学法进行教学。 教学过程:
Step1 Lead-in
开始上课,向学生展示交通标志图,然后找学生到黑板前做示范。 设计意图: 《新课标》提出:“兴趣是最好的老师。”好的导入能营造适宜的课堂气氛,既有知识性又有趣味性,集中学生的注意力,使学生对学习内容产生浓厚的兴趣。并能够使学生了解到基本常识,进一步拓宽词汇量,利用启发式教授法自然引出下一个教学环节。 Step2 Scanning

设计意图:速读是英语阅读中的一个重要环节,通过快速阅读,让学生了解本文大意,并通过引导使学生能够概括出段落大意。并为下面的教学环节打下伏笔。

设计意图: 质疑问难,互动合作。充分体现任务型教学的特点,提出问题明确目标,让学生带着问题到文中查读细节。在核对答案过程中,学生两两配合一问一答,形成生生,师生互动解答。既探究了文章细节,又提供了口语表达的平台。

本题设计一题两用。

2、 训练了学生的听力水平和完型填空。
Step5 Post-reading
辩论:分组辩论,综合拓展
待学生彻底了解了文章的细节后,已被主人公----一位普通志愿者---甘愿在艰苦的环境下无偿充当路标的事迹深深感动,此时是提高学生认识情感提升的有利时机。引出话题:人们都想找到好工作,有些人找工作是为了高工资,自我享受,而有些人是为了奉献社会,服务于社会。既然我们有不同的观点,那我们就进行一场辩论。
设计意图: 让学生学会分析社会现状、热点话题。不失时机的培养他们奉献社会、回报社会的精神,使他们认识到只有通过自己的努力工作改造社会,未来社会才会变得更美好。从而把整堂课推向高潮。 小结:It doesn’t matter whether people earn money from the jobs
or not. If everyone would give love to others, the world would be more wonderful.
Step6 Homework
Write a composition with the title: A Job Worth Doing
设计意图:让学生通过课下自己进一步思考真正理解“无论做什么,
只要有益于他人,都是值得做的事情。”这样既能巩固所学词汇,做到学以致用,又能对本课的学习进行小节;既能训练学生的写作能力,又能进一步提升他们的情感态度。
