I’m from…【设计意图】通过课件复习上节课内容,调动学生学习英语的兴趣,并为本节课的讲授做好铺垫。
Step 2 Presentation1、逐一出示上节课所学人物Jim, Mike, Mary,例如:先出示Jim,问学生:Who’s this? Where is he from?从而引出本节课的重点句型:Where’s he from? He’s from…【设计意图】借助上节课所认识的人物Jim, Mike, Mary,渗透本节课的知识点,让学生在不知不觉中掌握知识。
2. 播放Listen and say录音或教学光盘,整体呈现课文。
教师呈现课文情景:Today Li Ming’s friends come to our school, too. Who are they?【设计意图】让学生通过观看课文视频,并且引导学生带着问题听课文,了解课文大意。
3. Watch the CD-ROM again and find the questions:Where are they from?教师指着这四个人物,依次问学生:Where’s he from? Where’s she from?...在呈现答案的同时,教师领读新单词:Australia, France, India4. Listen and repeat.教师再次播放录音或教学光盘,请学生看课文插图并模仿跟读,注意语音语调。
Step 3 Practice1.组织学生六人一组表演课文,然后戴上头饰上讲台表演。
2.教师课件出示一组国家单词图片,然后依次出示人物,同桌间相互猜问,教师出示答案,看谁胜出。
如:出示一个金发碧眼的女孩,然后同桌两人猜问,“A:Where’s she from? B: She’s from Britain.”接下来同桌换问,各自记住自己的答案,这时教师出示正确答案,获胜者可以选择相互击掌或与老师击掌。
3. 组织学生操练Let’s talk部分的内容。
先让学生听此部分录音,模仿跟读。
然后生生之间进行问答练习。
如:---Where’s she from?---She’s fr om France.Step 4 Production3、教师再次播放Listen and say部分的录音或教学光盘,请学生模仿跟读,注意学生的语音语调。
六.教学用具:单词卡片、录音机、多媒体课件七、教学过程:Step 1 Warm-up.T: Are you ready for English class?Ss :Yes . (Let’s sing a “lalala” song, ok? Show me your hands. )T: Hello, boys and girls .S:Hello ,Miss Gong .T: Nice to meet you .Ss: Nice to meet you ,too.1. Listen and doT:Now, boys and girls, please follow me. Do as I do.复习动词和词组。
教师边做动作边说:eat/ drink/read/ write/ draw/ jump/ run/ swim/ flysweep the floor/water the flowers /wash the dishes./ watch TV【设计意图】在Warm-up 中通过TPR的形式回顾所学的动词,从一开始就将学生带入动词的世界,以旧带新,为后面的新授、拓展做一简单的引导,为后面引出do the dishes, cook dinner等短语做铺垫。
2. Free talk.T: Can you do housework? What can you do?S1: I can…. S2: I can….T: Great. You're helpful.【设计意图】通过师生的自由对话,为学生提供一个可自由发散思维的问题,引导学生快速进入用英语思维的课堂中来。
Step2. Presentation教学“doing the dishes, cooking dinner, reading a book, drawing pictures”1、教学doing the dishesT: Guess! What can I do? Ss: You can….T: (做洗碗的动作)Please look at me. I can do the dishes.(板书短语) T:W hat am I doing? (边动作洗碟子,边解释现在我在做什么?)You can ask me :What are you doing ?(词卡领读板书问句)T:ask me together. (老师边动作回答)I am doing the dishes. (老师板书I am … )教师出示洗碗动作的卡片,板书ing并领读doing the dishes,学生做洗碗的动作。
T: What are you doing? 帮助学生回答:I am doing the dishes.告诉学生洗碗有两种表达方法,即I am doing the dishes. 或I am washing the dishes. (we can say ….we can also say ….)再次板书:I am=I'm(领读,拿盘子准备传)T: (拿一个盘子)Now let's pass the dish one by one, and ask: What are you doing?传盘子时,全体同学一起打着节奏问:What are you doing? 当老师说:Stop时,拿到盘子的同学站起来边洗盘子边说:“I am doing the dishes.”【设计意图】由Free talk 引出do the dishes ,由学生熟悉的词组入手,利用肢体语言演示动词词组,使呈现更加直观形象、生动有趣,有利于提高学生的学习热情,增强学习效果。
通过传盘子的游戏集体练习、重点突破主句型What are you doing ?2、教学cooking dinnerT: (与一名学生对话)You can do the dishes . Can you cook dinner?Ss: 如果生回答Yes, I can.老师就用T: You’re helpful. Please do an action and say.T:(边让生说cook dinner, 边做动作)师板书cook dinnerT:(利用道具,做出做饭动作)Now, I’m cooking dinn er. 领读cooking dinner,然后学生做做饭的动作。
师生练习:T: What are you doing?Ss: I’m cooking dinner.板书-ing. Cook add ing is pronounced cooking画连读符号)(设计思路:当盘子传到最后一名学生,老师问:You can do the dishes . Can you cook dinner?自然引出cook dinner的教学.3、教学reading a bookT: Now boys and g irls,please look at this .What’s this ?S:….T: Yes,it’s a story book .Do you want to read it ? S:….老师让一个学生上台来看书, T: What are you doing?学生试着回答:I’m reading a book.教师出示读书的图片,板书并领读reading a book,学生跟读。
然后学生做读书的动作,师生练习:T: What are you doing? SS: I’m reading a book.4、教学drawing pictures出示一幅画,T: oh, There is a picture book. There are many beautiful pictures in it.(板书pictures). I can draw pictures,Can you draw pictures?(师边说边画,然后板书、领读)S: Yes. T : Yes,we can draw picture.Let’s draw some pictures . Please draw one thing. You can draw a tree, flowers,an apple and so on .T: What are you doing? SS: I am drawing pictures.Step 3 .Practice1、Now,boys and girls.Look at the sceen and read after me .(eg,do the dishes ---doing the dishes)2、(快速反应游戏)Now,boys and girls .Listen and say (If I say do the dishes ,you say doing the dishes.understand? )教师说本部分的动词短语,如:do the dishes,让学生说出它的ing 形式:doing the dishes.3、Who has magic eyes? Ready ?(老师闪动词卡,学生猜)T : Can you guess? Bingo ! T ell me ! the last one is ….?4、T:boys and girls ,do and say! I’ll show you the cards, you do the actions together and answer myquestion.understand? (老师出示动词卡片,学生看卡片做相应动作。
师问:What are you doing ? 学生做回答)5、T: Let’s play again. I want some students to come here. And choose a card and then do the action. one of you asks him or her:What are you doing? Clear?6、Ok, so much for this. Now , please open your books and turn to page 46. Listen to the tape. Listen, point and repeat. 教师播放Let’s learn 部分的录音,学生边听边指边读. (课件)7、Now,Le t’s change !
