Unit 2 A new student 单元解读一、单元内容体现的课标理念本单元在英语核心素养的育人价值下进行，围绕“人与自我”和“人与社会”开展教学活动。
涉及“生活与学习”、“社会服务与人际沟通”、“历史、社会与文化”主题群，“学习与生活的自我管理”、“运动与游戏，安全与防护”、“个人感受与见解”等子主题。
通过学习，学生应该能够熟练地介绍自己的和他人的校园，并在讨论、讲述、表演、续编故事等活动中，提高核心素养，增强文化自信。
1.语言能力：借助主题语境，运用How many引导的特殊疑问句和There be 句型的陈述向和疑问向来描述和询问学校各功能室的情况及所在楼层。
在听和读的过程中引导学生发现、总结字母Cc 在单词中的发音规律。
2.文化意识：能通过学习Story time，借助故事情境，帮助学生初步感知知和理解序数词的用法。
在语境中，询问和应答学校功能室的情况及所在楼层，帮助新同学快速了解新学校，并能尽快融入到新的学习环境中，建立同学情。
同时能通过Culture time的学习，在听、读的过程中，了解主要英语国家英国与美国楼层表达的差异，体验文化的多样性，并能够由此及彼，联想到中国的方言文化，增加文化包容性，坚定文化自信。
3.思维品质：借助图片和核心语言讲述故事的主要内容，能在原有故事的基础上展开合理的想象，续编故事。
介绍自己理想中的学校功能室的数量及所在楼层，充分激发学生的想象力，通过想一想，写一写等活动，补全语篇信息，并用英语介绍自己理想中的学校功能室的数量及所在楼层。
4.学习能力：能在教师的逐步引导下，增加自主学习和合作探究的能力。
通过活动的开展，积极探索新知，巩固旧知。
新旧结合下，最后通过给Checkout板块的文本增加开头和结尾的活动，帮助学生建构以My schoo1 为主题的英语小作文的结构框架，引导学生尝试三段式写作的方法。
二、单元内知识关联1.单元说明：本单元由Story time, Fun time, Grammar time, Sound time，Culture time, Cartoon time，Checkout time和Ticking time八大板块构成。
