1.tomb 坟墓

tomb表示“坟墓”时,比grave更庄重,在说“扫墓”时,多用tomb。

2.when 当......时

when的基本意思是“什么时候”。可用作疑问副词,用来询问某事曾发生或将要发生的时间。

例句:

When will they come?

一般过去时的一般疑问句的构成:Did+主语+动词原形+其它?

例句:

2. I wrote a story in English class yesterday. 昨天在英语课我写一个故事。

一般过去时表示过去某个时间发生的动作或存在的状态。常和表示过去的时间状语连用。

例句:

Li Mei always went to school on foot last term.

上学期李梅总是步行上学。
