书面表达题可能是以汉语提示为信息，也可能是以一组画面为信息，还有可能是以英语短文为信息，无论是以何种方式提供信息，只要细心审题，考生理解命题意图和所要表达的内容，一般不会存在太大的问题，因为书面表达题仅是简易的英语写作，要求并不太高，但这并不是说，审题就不重要了。
通过审题可以达到：（1）明确体裁。
书面表达虽然重在内容，但格式也不能忽视。
