2. 能认读词汇 eighth, ninth, tenth。
教学难点:关注“Teachers’ Day is coming.”和“Let’s make c ards for our teachers.”两句话中的teachers’ 和teachers 的发音相同,但用法不同。
第一课时:I .Warm-up.(1)Greetings(2)Revision, oral practice设计意图:巩固复习上一单元的知识点,激发学生的学习兴趣,为学生本单元的继续学习奠定基础。

2.能听懂和认读出序数词first、second、third、fourth以及boy、girl、Miss、September,并能在实际情景中运用。
3.在新学期开始之际,感受师生之情。
二、教学重难点1.教学重点:(1) 能在开学第一天,表达“It's our first day of school.”“Today is the first day of September.”还有句型“It's the second day of the week.”。
(2) 能认读词汇first、second、third、fourth和boy、girl、Miss、September。
2.教学难点:(1) 序数词要与the连接使用。
(2) September中的/p/与/t/连接时,/p/有失去爆破的发音现象。
三、教具准备教学挂图(组合图)、单词卡片(本课词卡及一周7天的卡片)、头饰(教材人物)、图片、虚构的9月月历(9月1日是星期一)、给学生的奖品(贴纸及贴有the first、the second等标牌的小奖品)、录音机、教学课件等。
四、教学步骤(一) Listen and say1.导入(1) 教师走进教室,向学生问候:“Hello, boys and girls! Welcome back to school. Nice to see you again!”引导学生用“Nice to see you, too.”呼应。
