吉安县中小学教师说教材活动全局把握温故知新——浅谈我对六年级英语下册教材的理解吉安县实验小学彭建林在我们的日常教学活动中，明确目标，吃透教材，选择合适的策略是非常重要的，在我们小学英语教学中也是一样。

今年我继续担任我校六年级英语的教学工作，在此，说一说我对人教版小学六年级上册英语教材的理解，与各位同仁探讨。

一、紧扣课程标准，了解教材特点。

1.《英语课程标准》对小学阶段应达到的目标作了明确的阐述，我们小学六年级应该达到的应该是二级，其要求是：对英语学习有持续的兴趣和爱好。

能用简单的英语互致问候、交换有关个人、家庭和朋友的简单信息。

能根据所学内容表演小对话或歌谣。

能在图片的帮助下听懂、读懂并讲述简单的故事。

能根据图片或提示写简单的句子。

在学习中乐于参与、积极合作、主动请教。

乐于了解异国文化、习俗。

我们的这一册教材就是人民教育出版社根据国家教育部颁布的《英语课程标准》编订的以小学三年级为起始年级的小学英语教材的最后一册课本。

通过完成此册课本的学习，学生的英语水平要达到《英语课程标准》规定的基础教育阶段英语课程的二级目标。

因此，本册教材的教学对学生在小学毕业时能否达到教学目标规定的要求有举足轻重的作用。

2.本套教材的编写特点是：*强调语言运用（如let’s do、let’s sing等）*注重能力培养（Group work、Let’s check等）*突出兴趣出发（卡通插图、图文并茂）*重视双向交流（融合中西方文化知识）*融合学科内容（贯穿自然科学、社会文化、语言艺术领域）*重视灵活扩展（选学C部分）*实现整体设计（三至六年级系统编排）3.在编写上，本套教材是这样安排的：（1）、全册共有4个单元，两个recycle是针对小学所有教学内容的总体复习单元。

（2）、新的教学内容较少，12周的时间完成新授单元的教学，2周的时间对这四个单元进行复习巩固，阶段复习；（3）、语言点较为集中，Unit One 是比较级，Unit 3 , Unit 4 是过去时，是本册的难点。

浅谈小学英语教学中利用教材插图培养学生的思维品质【摘要】课堂教学，是英文学生指向思想活动的一个最常见的教学方法。

其中“插图”在小学英文语篇课堂教学中的作用尤其重大，因为其形象、生动、形象，是英文语篇课堂教学中不能忽视的教育辅助工具。

正确高效地运用插画进行英语内容教育，不但可以扩大课堂教学的信息量，训练学生的观察力、想像力、逻辑推理与判断能力，还可以促使学生提高思想品格，培育学生核心素质。

本文作者试图通过自身的语言内容阅读教学实践，归纳出运用插画进行语言内容教育和提高学生思想品格的有效途径。

【关键词】小学英语；教材插图；思维品质引言:思想品格、语言素质和精神品质，是形成语言专业教学核心素质的最主要的三方面要素。

其中，思想品格已经成为人的最主要性格特质，同时也是一种人的思想的主要个性特征，在语言专业的基础教育课程中也成为了课程核心素质的最主要内容之一。

据高等教育学习外语课程学术委员会理事龚亚夫教师曾讲过，学生们身为英语老师，就应该清醒地意识到，英文是一门语言，并不仅仅是一个沟通手段，它最主要的意义就在于推动人的心灵成长，塑造人良好的性格，包括如何培育人的思维能力。

小学在英语课堂的入门环节中，在培育学生良好的思想技巧方面，不管教学方法、手段还是内容上，都令教师们深感困惑。

而在英语教学中的语篇学习已经成为学生思维训练的一个极佳方法，也往往能被教师们广泛使用。

一、教材插图的定义和作用教材插图（课文插图）称为课本插图，是指刊登在课本中用以说明课本内容的图画，它对教材内容做出形象的说明，是教材知识的一种呈现形式，起到加强教材内容感染力和版式活泼性的作用。

有效运用插图，可使学生学单词、句子更轻松。

同时，有效培养学生的观察能力、分析能力、思维能力和想象能力等能力的培养。

小学英语语篇教学板块中的每幅插图，都是围绕本单元的主要内容展开的。

教师应该根据自身在教学中的实际需要，善于运用插图，让英语课堂更加的生动、有趣，同时培养学生的思维品质。

听故事和读故事是学生喜欢的娱乐方式，与教学内容相互渗透能让学生在潜移默化中掌握英语词汇知识。

故事讲解和表演的过程也是语言表达的过程，在此环节学生对句型知识的掌握会更加牢固，有助于形成英语语感和提高口语表达，让学生在夯实英语基础知识的同时获得英语知识拓展，使教学效果事半功倍。

3.帮助学生拓展英语视野。

新课标是时代发展、社会进步的产物。

《英语课程标准》明确指出：“英语教学要以学生的年龄和认知能力为切入点，逐渐拓展知识范围。

”这给广大英语教师指明了教学方向，在教学中不仅要注重传授英语单词、句型等基础知识，还要充分开展文化教学，帮助学生树立文化意识，拓展英语学习范围。

Story time板块是英语实用性的体现，包含很多英语交际习惯用语，对西方国家的民风民俗和文化背景都有涉及，合理地运用Story time板块，能帮助学生收获良好的英语学习效果。

二、Story time 板块在实际英语教学中存在的主要问题Story time是译林新编版英语教材各单元的核心内容，它通常与形象生动的插画和各种妙趣横生的故事一起出现，将各种英语词汇和句型以短文或对话的形式呈现给学生，简单理解就是将教学内容以语言功能的形式表现出来，为学生渲染学习氛围，降低学习难度。

然而在实际教学中，很多教师对Story time的把握还欠火候，缺少多元化的教学方法，局限了Story time板块教学作用的发挥。

1. 问题设计不合理，影响了story 的完整性。

故事通常包含时间、地点、人物、事件、经过、结果等。

教师在按教材内容讲述故事时，常常在中间穿插各种问题，但由于问题设置得不合理，过于琐碎的问题直接削弱了故事的完整性，不利于学生理小学和中学阶段是学生智力和语言能力发展的高峰时期，是最适宜开展英语教学的阶段。
