教具准备1.单词卡片:Thanksgiving,American,invite,join等。
2.各种节日图片。
3.录音机或教学光盘。
教学过程Step 1 Warming up1.师生互致问候。
2.师生自由对话:How are you?What’s the date today?What’s your favorite holiday?Step 2 Review1.复习一些节日名称及这些节日的时间。
(1)分别出示“教师节”“国庆节”和“圣诞节”的图片,提出问题:“What holiday is it?When is it?”请学生回答。
(2)最后出示“春节”的图片并贴在黑板上,教师提出下面两个问题:When is the Spring Festival?What is the Spring Festival?根据学生的回答,教师在图片旁并列写出It’s in January or February.和It’s a Chinese holiday.两个句子。
2.揭示课题。
(1)教师出示“感恩节”的图片并贴在黑板上,告诉学生,这是西方一个很重要的节日—— Thanksgiving(感恩节)。
(2)揭示并板书课题:Unit 7 Thanks giving Part A。
(3)教学单词Thanksgiving,告诉学生Thanksgiving是一个复合词,由thanks 和giving组成。

2.力量目标:能将一般将来时和现在进行时这两种时态在实际情景中进行运用。
3.文化意识:关心同学了解复活节的由来以及与复活节有关的活动和东西。
4.情感目标:通过本课的学习,使同学对所接触的国外文化习俗感爱好,乐于了解异国文化、习俗。
教学重难点:本课的教学重点是把握新词Easter, paint, hide和look for, 并应用句型“be going to do"和"be doing”在情景中进行沟通和应用。
虽然在前面的课文中,同学已经学习过这两种句型, 但在实际操作中仍旧简单混淆,因此这两种句型的不同用法能否在实际情景中进行正确运用,也就成了本课一个难点。
在教学过程中,针对这一难点,我创设了真实的情景并设计多样的趣味操练活动,使同学从感知到理解并走向运用。
教法:任务型教学法、TPR教学法、情景法、表演法、多媒体演示法、鼓舞法、嬉戏法学法:做中学,表演中学教具预备:颜料、彩笔、蛋、多媒体课件教学过程设计:Step 1 Warming upGreetings.Hello, boys and girls. How are you?…Are you happy today?Let' s sing a happy song, OK?1.Sing an English song “A Happy Song” .(邀请同学用轮唱的方式演绎)Say a chant: What Is Blue?2.让同学看约一分钟左右的关于Easter的动画短片,导出课题。

T: What is the film about?你们知道小兔子在过什么节日吗?Yes,复活节,Easter.(呈现新词并用嬉戏教授、操练)嬉戏一一炸弹:请一个同学读Easter,用升调,然后他前后左右的同学要立刻站起来跟读Easter,用降调,若有人没有准时起立跟读,他就被炸到了。
