It’s about six thousand seven hundred kilometres.
万里长城是我国古代一项伟大的防御工程它凝聚着我国古代人·民的坚强毅 力和高度智慧，体现了我国古代工程技术的非凡成就，也显示了中华民族的悠久 历史。长城的工程量是十分惊人的。仅修筑长城的砖石，如果用来修建一道厚 1米、高5米的长墙，这道长墙足以环绕地球一周而有余；如果用来铺筑宽5米、 厚35厘米的马路，那就要环绕地球三四周。这还只是按一次修筑来算的，如果包 括历代的重修和补筑，那工程总量就要增加好多倍了。因而，以工程的艰巨浩大 则要居世界七大奇迹之首，从而为世界人·民所瞩目。
