1. Some people believe that colours can influence our moods. You may wonder

whether it is true.

【1】巩固词汇influence

【2】注意学习 wonder的用法：此处其后跟的是 whether引导的宾语从句，

whether含上与if等同.

【1】系表结构 feel relaxed：感到放松(轻松)，请注意区分 relaxing与 relaxed，

excited与 exciting等词

【2】paint的含义及用法：n.油漆，颜料，涂料；v油漆，(用颜料等)画，绘，描绘，逼真地描述把…漆成…(颜色)”的表述： paint sth + 颜色

如： paint the house red把房子漆成红色。

3.It is also the colour of purity. Many women like to wear white on their wedding

【1】请注意学习 purity的含义及用法：n纯净，纯洁，纯度；

如： White is the symbol of purity. 白色是纯洁的象征。

注意学习其形容词形式为： pure adj纯的，纯粹的，纯净的，无垢的，纯洁的，完美的，抽象的；

如：pure gold纯金； pure English纯正英语； a pure mind心地纯洁

【2】“穿、戴”的表达：wear; put on; be dressed in; in; on 具体区别请结下列典型题进行学习。

【3】wedding的含义及用法：n.婚礼，婚宴，结合，结婚典礼。

4. It can cheer you up when you are feeling sad. Yellow is the colour of the sun, so it

can remind you of a warm, sunny day. Yellow is also the colour of wisdom. Some

people prefer this colour when they hope for success.

【2】巩固词汇remind 的用法

【3】学习 wisdom的含义及用法：U不可数名词n智慧，明智的行为，学识，名言，贤人，至理名言。

① wisdom是一个不可数名词

② 注意与 wisdom相关的表达形式： a woman of great wisdom才女； words of wisdom至理名言；

③注意 wisdom含义为明智”时的固定搭配： wisdom of sth/ of doing sth。做…的明智性。

【4】学习 hope for的含义及用法：希望，期待；

如：We' re hoping for a big order from the Middle East.

我们希望能从中东得到大批订单。

注意回顾hope的用法： hope to do sth与 hope that从句；hope与wish的区别！

男孩们看到乔买了一辆二手车，心中满怀嫉妒。

envy 的含义及用法：n.& v羡慕，嫉妒。

作为名词时的固定用法： be the envy of sb/sh羡慕(或嫉妒)的对象：羡慕(或嫉妒)的东西；

如： British television is the envy of the world.英国电视节目世人羡慕。

Step 1: Revision

How many colors do you know? (red, white, black, blue, green, grown, purple….)

If you mix two different colors, you can get another color, suck as: red + white = pink; red +

yellow = orange; red + blue = purple.

What color are the following things? (the sea, the sky, the sun, a leaf, a tomato, an apple …) Step

2: Presentation

After the rain, Millie looks out of her window and sees a rainbow. How many colors can she see?

Write down the names of the colors.

Explain: indigo → a purplish blue; violet →a synonym of ‘purple’

一、 教学对象分析

初中三年级学生，对本课语法that，if，whether引导的宾语从句有一定接触和了解，但是并不能系统地知道相关知识点。需要在教学中帮助他们整合、归纳。

二、 教学目标

1. 知识目标

能理解并运用描述人物情绪的词组和常用句型，知道颜色的相关词汇。

2. 能力目标

能够用适当的词汇、句型描述人物的情绪。能够熟练掌握宾语从句。

3. 情感目标

通过学习有关颜色的词汇, 加深对绚丽多彩的世界的热爱。学会使用颜色来调节情绪并根据自己不同的情绪选择不同颜色的服饰。

三、 教学步骤

Step1. Lead-in

T: Hi, everyone. Nice to meet you.

T: Look, here are two pictures. Are they the same?

S: No.

T: What’s the difference between them?

S: The first one is black and white. But the second one is colourful.

T: Which one do you like better?

S: I like the colourful one better than the black and white one.

T: I would rather choose the colourful one than the black and white one.

T: What is this?

S: It is a rainbow.

T: Have you ever seen a rainbow? When? S: Yes. I’ve seen it after the rain.
