Unit7Food FestivalTopic3I cooked the most successfully.Section C本单元以Food Festival为主题。
第三话题是在前两个话题的基础上,继续学习副词的比较级和最高级。
同时引入新内容的学习,包括订餐、接单、用餐等日常功能用语以及对比事物的表达法。
该话题的句型主要有“Enjoy yourselves!”,“Let’s wish them success!”,“May I have the bill,please?”,“Thanks for your order.”等。
本节课的课型为阅读课。
语法内容是多音节副词的比较级和最高级最高级。
语法内容虽然是重点,但对学生来说却不是难点,所以可在阅读中引导学生自己总结规律。

主要活动为Section A 的1a和2a。
本话题的主题是描述“国际美食节”。
本课开门见山地描述了“国际美食节”召开的热闹场景,让学生接触如何致开幕词,接下来自然而然地过渡到人们在美食节上点菜就餐的场景,呈现了点菜进餐的功能用语。
通过让学生参加一系列的学习活动,培养他们学习英语的愿望和兴趣,乐于参与各种英语实践活动,并能让学生在生活中接触英语时,乐于探究其含义并尝试模仿。

Unit 7 TOPIC 3 Section C 教案教学目标:1.总结举办美食节的结果。
2.学习不同食物的不同食用方法。
3.掌握副词的比较级和最高级形式。
教学重点:会单词及句型,课文的掌握教学准备:录音机,图片,单词卡片等。
教学过程:第一步:复习1.问答,复习食物名称。

老师可以利用一个写满菜名的菜单进行复习。

本节课共分为两模块,Section A(1)食品节开幕式,和Section A(2)就餐,由于这两部分内容涉及的情景和表达方式不一样,所以分两部分进行讲解。

Ⅰ. Material analysis
本节课建议用1课时上完。
主要活动为Section C 的1a和2。
本课继前两个Sections谈论点菜进餐的话题之后,又呈现了一个学生感兴趣的话题——谈论不同特色食物的食用方法。
教师在本课可以从学生感兴趣的内容入手,在常规复习之后,先让学生欣赏几段与餐具用法有关的视频,导入第二部分对食物的正确食用方法的探究学习。
本课的1a 部分以Kangkang向Craig 发电子邮件的形式总结了美食节的情况,呈现了多音节副词的比较级和最高级的用法。
教师可以借助本课对美食节的总结,引导学生体验成功的喜悦,并能通过Craig 的慈善组织Free the Children帮助全世界的儿童,像Kangkang 与同学们筹备美食节一样来筹款帮助肯尼亚的孩子们建学校,让学生们初步树立“国际大家庭”的概念及乐于助人的思想。

Introduction(8 minutes)
1. Greet students ready for learning.
2. Teacher asks the students to act out the conversation about ordering a meal by phone they prepared. Lead them to review how to order a meal by phone.
3. Teacher plays four videos for the students: eating steak, (teach the word steak by showing the picture of it.) eating noodles, eating sandwiches and drinking soup. Let students speak out more correct ways to eat different food.
4. Teacher lets students work in groups: Discuss the correct way to eat the food shown in the table of 2.
5. Teacher lets four students from different groups tell their answers.
6. Teacher reads the correct ways to eat them and lets students listen carefully and check their answers: we should use knives and forks to eat steak; we can use chopstic ks to eat noodles; we must use spoon to drink soup…。
