辨异突破surprise, surprising与surprised1. surprise既是名词，又是动词。
surprise作名词时，意为“惊奇；惊讶”，是不可数名词。
常用短语：in surprise惊讶地；to one’s surprise让某人惊讶的是。
如：①John turned around and looked at me in surprise．约翰转过身来，惊讶地望着我。
