1.Warm-up

(1)Free talk

①T: Hello, boys and girls. How are you?

Ss: I’m fine, thank you.

②T: What’s the weather like today?

Ss: It’s sunny/nice/…

③T: Oh, The weather is hotter and hotter, because summer is

coming. I like summer, because I like summer vacation, I have a

long holiday and I can go swimming. What’s your favourite

season? First, let’s listen to a song.

(设计意图:通过Free talk说出我最喜欢的季节,引出问题,提问学生你最喜欢的季节是什么。)

(2)Sing a song 《What’s your favourite season?》

T: Which seasons did you hear in this song?

Ss: Spring, summer, fall and winter.

T:Yes, they are four seasons. Look at this “fall”, It means

“autumn”, We can say “autumn” “fall”.

T: What’s your favourite season? Why?

S1: I like ______. Because ________.

S2: I like ______. Because ________.

(设计意图:通过歌曲,学习fall的含意,理解fall和autumn的意思一样。)

2. Presentation

(1)T: Today, our old friend Robin is coming here. Let’s say hello

to him.

Ss: Hello, Robin.

T: Do you want to know which season Robin likes?

Ss: Yes.

T: Now, let’s listen to the text.

(Play the computer)

T: Which season does Robin like? Which one is right? Choose

right answer.

S: D.

T: Yes. How do you know? Can you find out these sentences?

T: Yes, from here we know Robin likes spring, summer, fall and

winter. He likes all the four seasons. So we can say Robin likes

them all. (板书课题)

(设计意图:第一遍听课文,回答Robin喜欢的季节是什么,让学生对课文有个初步的认识。)

(2)T: Please take out your paper, please read by yourself and

finish the first question. OK? Open your book, turn to page 19.

(设计意图:设计Tick or cross环节,让学生初读课文,对这篇课文有了更进一步的了解。)

(3) ①T: You’re wonderful. Let’s come into the four seasons with

Robin. Listen to the tape, why does Robin like spring?

T: What can Robin see in spring?

Let’s read!

Ss: Green trees and pink flowers.

T: Oh, it’s very beautiful. I think

spring is beautiful. How about you?

Ss: Yes. T: So spring is beautiful. It’s a beautiful spring.

(设计意图:由教师引导,带着学生发现描写春天特点的单词:beautiful.)

② T: How’s summer? Please read together.

S: It’s hot.

(设计意图:学生齐读第二段,找出描写夏天的特点:hot.)

③ T:Seasons come and seasons go, we are coming into fall and

winter. Look at your book, read the last two paragraphs, think about how is fall? How is winter? Ss: Fall is lovely.

T: Please read the sentences about lovely fall. What means

lovely?

Ss: It means beautiful, pretty.

T: Fall and fall and fall. Does fall mean autumn?

S: No.

T: It means 落下。

T: The fall is lovely. So what does Robin want to do?

Ss: He wants to paint a picture.

T: How’s the winter? Why does Robin like winter? S1: Winter is white. Robin can play in the snow.

T: Yes, we can make a snowman and have a snowball fight in

winter. So we can play in the snow too.

(设计意图:让学生自己阅读Fall and winter,放手让他们自己学习。)

3. Read the text.

(1) T: Robin likes all the four seasons. Let’s listen and repeat.

(2) 分段读。

(3) 分角色读。

(设计意图:通过跟读,让学生熟悉课文,纠正发音,并用多种阅读方式,使学生更深入地了解课文。)

4. Fill in blanks.

(设计意图:学生通过完成填空,对课文内容做到全面地了解,并为后面的词语拓展进行了铺垫。) 5. Extension.

T: The beauties of four seasons are different. We can do

different things in every season. Can you use another words or

phrases to describe every season?

T: Use your coloured pencils, write in different colours. Work

with your partners.

(设计意图:以spring为例,让学生发挥,去思考描述四季的词语,并运用句型进行练习,由此创建出了思维导图。)

6.Let’s write

7. Homework

课后反思:

运用思维导图,去开拓学生的思维,让他们充分发挥想象,尽可能地多使用不同的单词和句子去描述他们喜爱的东西。孩子们在这一环节中的表现也是很棒,写出了很多单词去描写每个季节。程度好的孩子甚至写出了comfortable和 farmers are busy等这些词语。我希望通过这节课,让孩子们觉得阅读是一种乐趣,写作也没有那么困难,学会发现事物的特点,发现美好的东西。
