The relationship is as follows:
Physical distance = Electrical Distance / Sqrt (product DC)
Where Physical Distance is the distance between P1 and configured probe length and Electrical Distance is the distance between P1 and measured probe length.
If you in RRM want to calculate product dc from the Echo Curve window you should use the following formula:
Product DC =((Measured Probe End – Surface Peak (P1)) / (Configured Probe Length –Surface Peak (P1))^2
