Attending hard pen calligraphy classes has been an ongoing source of frustration for me. The intricate movements required to create the delicate strokes of calligraphy can be both physically and mentally challenging. The constant need for precision and control often leaves me feeling frustrated and discouraged. The slow pace of the class can also be frustrating, as I am eager to progressand see improvement in my work. Additionally, the lack of feedback and guidance from the instructor can make itdifficult for me to identify areas where I need to improve. Overall, while I appreciate the beauty and elegance of hard pen calligraphy, the challenges associated with the classes have made it a frustrating experience for me.

An Exploration of English Cursive Writing。
English cursive writing, also known as script, is an elegant and fluid style of handwriting that emphasizes the connection between letters. It is characterized by its looped and flowing lines, which create a visually appealing and efficient form of writing. Cursive writing has a rich history and has evolved over centuries to become a fundamental aspect of English literacy.Origins and Evolution of Cursive Writing。
The origins of English cursive writing can be traced back to the Roman alphabet. During the Middle Ages, scribes developed a form of cursive writing known as "Gothic script," which was used to transcribe religious texts and official documents. Over time, Gothic script evolved intovarious forms, including the Blackletter script and the Italic script. In the 16th century, a new form of cursive writing emerged known as "secretary hand." This script was more legible and functional than previous forms and became widely used for writing letters, books, and official documents. Secretary hand eventually gave rise to the modern cursive writing style that we know today.Characteristics and Components of Cursive Writing。

Quill: A writing pen made from the shaft of a feather.
