教材通过吴一凡和机器人Robin 讨论吴一凡课程表的情景,呈现单词的词形和意义。
本部分的教学目标是:学生能够听、说、读、写上述单词,并能够在语境中正确运用上述单词。
Let’s play部分用于操练和巩固A Let’s learn板块有关一周七天名称的单词。
本活动要求同桌两人合作完成,一人说课程名称,一人猜星期几。
二、学生情况分析五年级学生已经具备一定的听说读写能力,并且已经学习过本课涉及的科目单词。
同时,学生已在本单元第一课时已经接触过主句型What do you have on … ? I have … 在此基础上,本课要使学生进一步掌握运用主句型谈论课程安排情况,并学习重点词汇:Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday。

包括Let’s learn和Let’s play两个板块。
Let’s lear n呈现的是吴斌斌和机器人robin的对话情景图,以及吴斌斌一周的课程表,展示了八个单词:Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday,Saturday,Sunday,weekend;还有一组问答句型:What do you have on Mondays? I have Chinese, English, maths and music. 吴斌斌的课程表的特点椒从星期一到星期五,每一天有四节课,星期六和星期日是周末双休日。
教师利用这个版块,帮助学生分清从星期一到星期日等七个单词的读音,正确朗读这些单词,使学生能够灵活运用这些单词实现生活中的真实的语言交流活动。
Let’s play是承接本课时Let’s learn的重点内容,精心设计的专项训练活动版块,该板块是要求学生们自己与同伴共同设计一张时间课程表,然后再根据时间课程表的内容,使用陈述句I have English / Chinese /maths /science / music …进行描述某一天的课程,由对方使用一般疑问句Is it Monday/ Tuesday / Wednesday…进行提问猜测,用No. / Yes.作回应,直到猜对为止。
分组活动,让每位学生都获得充足训练的机会,鼓励每位学生大胆运用学过的句型和单词进行问答,帮助学生在黄金课堂时间熟练掌握从星期一到星期日等七个单词的正确读音和运用,为今后学生们的日常交际用语做了厚实的铺垫。
本课时主要目的是帮助学生积累有关星期几的词汇,因此,教师在备课时,应该以学习与训练单词为中心,精心设计PPT版块内容,让学生在听觉和视觉方面得到充足正能量的熏陶;教师为学生设计多样化的课程表,请学生进行对话练习;并且指导学生设计自己喜欢的课程表,根据自己设计的课程表进行猜谜语游戏活动;充分运用单词卡拉火车形式巩固重点单词的正确读音。

本课时需要重点掌握句型:What day is it today? It's....What do you have on Wednesdays? We have English,science,computer and P.E.I like Wednesdays.要求学生在实际情景中自如运用这些句子。
教学难点
本课时的难点是Let's try部分,内容多,易混淆。
要求教师多放录音,正确引导。
必要时给出听力原文指导学生进行分句听和分段听。
另一难点是能够简单描述一周内的学习和生活情况。

1、教师准备教学过程中所需要的图片、声音、课件;
2、教师准备一张日历和课程表。
教师自制游戏转盘;
3、教师准备相关媒体的播放设备,如录音机、投影仪、幻灯片等。

教学过程设计
1、Warm-up(热身)
(1)教师放Start部分的歌谣Let’s chant录音,学生复习巩固有关星期的新单词和课程名称。
(2)日常口语练习,内容可参考如下:
A:What day is it today?
B:It's Tuesday.
A:What do you have?
B: We have P.E.class.I like Tuesdays.
2、 Presentation(新课呈现)
(1)教师播放Let's try的录音,让学生仔细听,尽量按选出正确的图,并说出先后顺序。
听了一遍后,老师可给出重点句型。
让学生再听录音,完成听音选图练习后,教师指
导学生给出正确答案。
如果学生听了两遍后,还不能理解内容,可出示听力原文的同时播声音,让学生听懂后,在不看文字的状态下再听一遍。
反复播放录音能强化对新句型的听觉感知。
(2)在此基础上,教师出示本课时Let’s talk对话部分的图片,利用教学VCD或录音带,让学生来看一看、听一听Amy要上什么课程。
要求学生在听的过程中做记录,有意识培养他们听的技能。
小组或班级评选谁是听力王,对学生听的表现及时评价。
(3)反复听录音,跟读对话。
两人一组读对话。
3、Let’s play (趣味操练)
(1)教师利用转盘教具做游戏,操练第一组句型:What day is it today? It's....然后引导学生依据实际的课程表替换新句型中的关键词,操练第二组句型:What do you have on…? We have....
(2)让学生根据自己的课程表,准备描述一下自己本周的学习情况。
可先在小组内或同桌间进行交流。
然后在全班宣读。
在准备过程中教师要有意识地引导学生说出本部分重点学习的两组新句型,如:What do you have on Wednesdays? We/I have....交流完毕后,教师不要忘记让大家评选出最受欢迎的宣读者。
(3)Group work
引导学生根据刚刚准备的学习情况宣读稿,分小组讨论各自喜欢什么课程和哪一天的课程。
总结出各小组最喜欢的课程和最喜欢星期几的课程,在班级内做汇报。
鼓励学生表述尽可能多的理由。
4、Consolidation and extension(巩固与扩展)
(1)让学生做A Let's talk部分的活动手册配套练习。
(2)让学生听Let's talk部分的录音,读给朋友或家长听。
(3)让学生参照自己设计的课程表说一说喜欢的课程和喜欢星期几。
要特别说的喜欢的理由。
(4)让学生把新学的文化背景知识介绍给家长或朋友听;制作祝福卡给父母或朋友。

课时通过听、读等活动来学习句型What day is it today? It's....What do you have on Wednesdays? We have English,science,computer and P.E.I like Wednesdays.侧重听力和口语的相关训练,让学生学会简单描述一周内的学习和生活情况。
通过前一单元的学习,听力部分的形式已被学生熟悉,可在导入后,开始此部分的学习。
然后,进行操练语言部分。
此时可由教师控制节奏,进行不同难度、有梯度的操练。
由浅入深练习句型。
由教师主导渐变为老师辅导,由学生在活动中主动使用新句型完成各项任务,如,制作课程表等。
