本部分在Section A的基础上进一步拓展话题,同样围绕邻里社区的各种设施和场所位置,让学生通过各种相关活动,了解如何使用英语问路和指路,最后学会用文字描述自己的街坊邻里。
二、学情分析本节课Section (1a-1d)呈现了现实生活中常见的问路情景,学生通过听说活动的训练,了解为他人指路时常用的词汇和表达用语。
本节课主要语言目标是教授如何问路及为他人指路,结合描述地理位置。
本节课难度适合英语基础、听说能力一般的七年级学生。
三、教学目标1、语言知识目标:1).复习在句中使用post office, police station, hotel, restaurant, bank, hospital ,street, pay phone, park 等地点名词和be across from, behind, next to, between…and, in front of 等方位介词。
2).学习新的指路表达词语:go along, turn right ,turn left, on the right, on the left, at the crossing。
3).学生可以根据地图用英语进行简单的问路和指路。
2. 情感态度目标:能够在日常交际中得体地运用英语语言向别人问路。
四、教学重、难点1. 重点:在指路时使用的常见词汇和表达用语,如:go along, turn left/right, at the first crossing, on the/your left/right2. 难点:将指路用语串联起来,形成完整的描述,并以口头或书面形式表达出来。

【教学反思】
本课主要内容是将本课语言目标用于交际活动而进行知识拓展,即在前两课简单的问路指路话题基础上学习远距离指路,具体就是学习左右转和直走这几个短语和相关句型。
视频、动作、角色扮演等教学活动吸引了学生的注意力,提高了学生的积极性。
