Unit 8 Is there a post office near here?Section B 1a-1d一、教材内容分析本次授课内容为人教版七年级英语下册第八单元 Is there a post office near here? Section B (1a—1d)部分。
本部分在Section A的基础上进一步拓展话题，同样围绕邻里社区的各种设施和场所位置，让学生通过各种相关活动，了解如何使用英语问路和指路，最后学会用文字描述自己的街坊邻里。
二、学情分析本节课Section (1a-1d)呈现了现实生活中常见的问路情景，学生通过听说活动的训练，了解为他人指路时常用的词汇和表达用语。
本节课主要语言目标是教授如何问路及为他人指路，结合描述地理位置。
本节课难度适合英语基础、听说能力一般的七年级学生。
三、教学目标1、语言知识目标：1）.复习在句中使用post office, police station, hotel, restaurant, bank, hospital ,street, pay phone, park 等地点名词和be across from, behind, next to, between…and, in front of 等方位介词。
2）.学习新的指路表达词语：go along, turn right ,turn left, on the right, on the left, at the crossing。
3）.学生可以根据地图用英语进行简单的问路和指路。
2. 情感态度目标：能够在日常交际中得体地运用英语语言向别人问路。
四、教学重、难点1. 重点：在指路时使用的常见词汇和表达用语，如：go along, turn left/right, at the first crossing, on the/your left/right2. 难点：将指路用语串联起来，形成完整的描述，并以口头或书面形式表达出来。

1. 听录音，要求学生写出正确的A、B两个公共场所单词，如果单词较长，可速记部分字母或关键词。

1c中的对话中出现了几个指路的句子，你能说说他们的汉语意思吗？

我们发现在指路时除了使用方位词，还要用到几个常见的动词词组：，left，right at the first 等。

1. 分角色朗读1c对话，
2. 看1b图片，假设你们是图片中的两人，身在某个公共场所，准备去另一个公共场所，模仿1c对话：

同时，学生自己评价自己的事物，表达感受，可以培养他们学习英语的信心，激发学习的愿望。

【教学反思】
本课主要内容是将本课语言目标用于交际活动而进行知识拓展，即在前两课简单的问路指路话题基础上学习远距离指路，具体就是学习左右转和直走这几个短语和相关句型。
视频、动作、角色扮演等教学活动吸引了学生的注意力，提高了学生的积极性。
