教学目标:
1语言目标:掌握本单元重点词汇及能用比较级和最高级谈论各之最。
2 技能目标:能听懂和谈论有关地理和自然的话题。
3 情感目标:培养学生热爱大自然,保护环境的意识。

Qomolangma.
How long is Qomolangma?
It’s 8,844.43 meters high. It’s higher than any other mountain.
Which is the deepest salt lake in the world?
The Caspian Sea is the deepest of all the salt lake.
Did you know that China is one of the oldest countries in the world?
Yes, I did. It’s much older than the US.

Step 2 Warming-up
1. Watch the photos and talk about them “How big/high/long/big is …?’ and help the students to
answer: It’s …meters/kilometers/cm big/high/long/big.
2. Look these photos and practice the dialogue:

英语表示“有多长(宽,高……)”时,一般将数词和数量单位放在表示长宽高的形容词前作状语。

fell free是英语口语中一个常用表达。若有人让你feel free to do something, 就是让你无需拘束,只管按照自己的意愿去做某事。
e.g. A: Can I use your bathroom? 我可以用一下你的卫生间吗?
B: Yes, feel free. 可以,请随意。
2. As far as I know, there are no man-made objects as big as this.
据我所知,再没有像它这样大的人造物体了。
as far as I know是一个固定的表达方式,还可以说so far as I know, 意思是“据我所知”。
e.g. As far as I know, Jack’s got twin sisters.
就我所知,杰克有一对孪生姐妹。
They’re not coming today, so far as I know.
他们今天不来了– 就我所知是这样的。
Step 9 Homework
A: To memorize the important phrases and sentences.
B: to make some dialogues about asking the size of objects.
教学反思
相对上次公开课,这次公开课我做了一些完善,取精去糟。
我个人认为本节课的亮点有:1.目标明确2.知识全面3.教学形式不单一4.口语,书面练习均有涉及5.内容适当,时间精确。
教研之后,觉得自己需要完善的不足点有:1.语言知识点要系统化2.对于学生的作业完成情况应及时处理,完成效果做到心中有数。3.应充分利用资源,多样化教学4.课堂是快乐的殿堂,作为老师,微笑教学很重要。
作为年轻教师,需要总结的经验还很多,今后我会慢慢摸索,不断努力,找到属于自己的一套教学模式。

说教材 1.教材的地位与作用:本单元是在学习了形容词比较级的基础上进一步学 习最高级.通过复习和学习一些地理知识,练习最高级 ,让学生在完成任务 的过程中 , 运用所学知识进行英语交流 , 培养运用英语解决实际问题的能
力. 语法 : 形容词最高级及构成 ( 规则和不规则 good ,better ,best, bad ,
worse , worst) (2). 过程与方法.:让学生在对比中运用比较级过度到最高级,培养学生学 习英语的兴趣和应用英语实际交流的能力,进而提高学生听、说、读、写 等能力。 (3) 情感态度价值观:通过比较,了解中国以及世界地理知识,培养爱国主 义情操,以及通过了解珠穆朗玛峰及人类克服困难,挑战极限的精神 2.教学重、难点:重点是掌握本课重点词汇,重点句型和最高级的用法即知 识目标的内容,难点是形容词比较级和最高级构成法及正确运用.
二.学情分析 本课的教学操练点,谈论的话题是地理知识,学生都有了解,
再加上现在 的中学生思维能力较强,但注意力容易分散。对英语普遍感兴趣,但有很 大的不稳定性. 因此,本课采取独立呈现,综合操练的方式,让学生逐渐理
解消化.在本课教学过程中,在注重启发引导的同时,更要注重教学方法的 灵活性,激发学生学习的兴趣,让学生乐于接受,易于接受。 三.说教法 1.Teach
English in English : 即新课标倡导的“用英语教英语”,尽 量用英语教学,创造英语课堂良好的听的环境,让学生充分感知,积极体 验,大胆实践,把握用英语交际的机会,鼓励学生大胆开口说英语。
2. Task-based teaching method 突出重点,突破难点:倡导体验参与, 培养自主学习能力,让学生带着任务有目的地上课, 并在课堂学习中不断获 得完
