内容提示

本单元的教学核心项目是“描述人的外貌”（Describe People），涉及到讨论人的身高、体重、发型、面部特征及其着装等语言项目。教材内容围绕着描述人的外貌特点展开，让学生学会谈论人的身高、体重、发型、面部特征及着装特点，以人的外貌特征为主线，兼顾交际功能的学习，以一种循序渐进的生活化的学习程序，引导学生学会用英语介绍自己或他人的外表特征。这些内容与学生的实际生活密切相关，易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流，所以在学习活动中，学生能通过交换对不同人物的描述及看法，促进学生之间和师生之间的情感交流，增进情谊。

教学目标

（一）语言知识目标：

1. 语法：①look like的问句及回答。

②wear的一般现在时用法。

③用于宽泛描述的形容词。

2. 词汇：

．名 词：hair, height, build, captain, team, bit, joke, beard, glasses, look, singer, etc.

今天我说课的内容是人教版七年级英语下册第七单元What does

he look like?第1课时。本课是口语训练课，下面我将从几个方面

来阐述一下我的说课内容。

一(说教材

1、教材分析

本课我以“Physical appearances”为话题，以 “Describe people’s

looks”为功能项目，展开话题，并以此为依托，在目标语言“What does she/he

look like ? She/he has long hair” 中学会描述人物的外貌特征。我借助于“任务型教学”，将听、说、读、练等融为一体，激发学生学习英语的兴趣和愿望。通过合作学习，使学生体验成就感，从而树立自信心，发展自主学习的能力，进一步培养学生用英语进行交际的能力。

2(学情分析

知识基础:大部分学生具备了初步用英语交际的能力，但少数学生对任务的完成仍有一定的难度。

思维能力:七年级学生有较强的记忆力和模仿能力，有待培养学生的知识扩展和运用的能力。

我将本课的学习目标设计为:

1(在知识方面,掌握单词:look like, hair, short, curly, straight,

height, thin, heavy, build, 句型: What does he look like ? He is

tall. He

has short hair. 2(在能力方面，训练学生的听说技能。能用本课所学知识谈论人的外貌，拓展学生用英语进行交际的能力。

3(情感目标:激发学生学习英语的兴趣，使学生获得成就感，增强自信心。

我主要通过感知新教材---归纳---灵活运用等方式来突破教材的重难点的。在教学开始时，我让学生复习单词、句型，以旧带新，引入新知，通过对教材的了解感知新任务，并在教师用电脑图片、录音等多种媒介的感官刺激下实现对知识的体验和实践，最后在真实的生活情境中运用，实现能力的发展。

 In this unit students learn to describe people.

 New language

 What do you look like? I’m short. And I have curly hair.

 What do they look like? They’re medium height.And they have short hair.

 What does he look like? He’s heavy and he wears glasses.

 What does she look like? She’s thin and she has long hair.

 Section A

 Ask students to name some ways of describing people. You can start students

off with examples such as tall and short. Point out various students in the class

and ask students to say if they are tall or short.

 Continue with examples of students who have long hair and short hair. Write

the words on the board and ask students to repeat these words. Then point at

问：What do/does + 主语 + look like? “……看上去什么样？”/ “……长什么样？”

答：主语 + be + 描述人物外貌特征的形容词。

主语 + have/has + 名词（名词前可有多个形容词修饰）。

1）What does your friend look like? 你朋友长什么样？

He is short and thin. He has short, black hair.他又矮又瘦，留着短直发。

2）What do they look like? 他们长什么样？

They’re of medium height. 他们中等身高。

3）What does he look like? 他长什么样？

He is of medium build, and he has a big nose.他中等身材，大鼻子。

形容人的“外貌特征”的名词和形容词

序号 跟在be后 (be+形容词) 跟在have/has后 (have/has+名词)

1 是高的/矮的 is tall/short 有长/短头发 have long/short hair

2 是中等高度 is of medium height 有直/卷头发 have straight/curly hair

3 是胖的/瘦的 is heavy/fat, thin 有黑/黄头发 have black/yellow hair

4 是中等身材 is of medium build have+长短+直卷+颜色+hair

5 是长的/短的 is long/short have a medium height/build

6 是漂亮/丑陋的 is beautiful/ugly have (two) big eyes
