英语课程应成为学生在教师的指导下构建知识、发展技能、拓展视野、活跃思维、展现个性的过程。
由于学生在年龄、性格、认知方式、生活环境等方面存在差异，他们具有不同的学习需求和学习特点。
只有最大限度地满足个体需求，才有可能获得最大化的整体教学效益。
