低氧诱导因子21(hypoxia inducible fact or 21,H I F 21)是1992年由Se menza 〔1〕对经缺氧处理HepG 2和Hep3B 细胞株的核提取物进行分析时发现的。

它是哺乳动物机体功能在缺氧条件下的一个重要的氧依赖转录激活因子,通过与低氧反应元件(hypoxia res ponsive ele ment,HRE )结合,引发下游诸如促红细胞生长素(EP O )、诱导型一氧化氮合酶(i N OS )、血管内皮生长因子(vascular endothelial gr owth fact or,VEGF )等基因的转录,从而影响红细胞生成、血管发生、细胞凋亡和增殖等生理及病理过程,并使机体产生一系列的适应缺氧反应。

而VEGF 是机体内最主要的血管生长因子,对促进血管新生有着极其重要的作用。

本文主要就H I F 21对VEGF 的调控,以及对血管新生方面的研究进展情况进行综述。

1 H I F 21的结构 H I F 21是一种异源二聚体(四聚体较少见)转录因子,其两个亚基H I F 21α和H I F 21β均属于bHLH 2P AS (basic 2Helix 2Loop 2・509・陆蕴松等 低氧诱导因子21对血管内皮生长因子的调控 第7期Helix2Per2ARNT/Abr2Si m)家族蛋白。
