教学目标:
1. 学生能在语境下听懂、理解课文,会读单词: should, shouldn’t,
take…down, clean。
2. 学生能听懂、理解以下句型:You shouldn’t play with the CDs. I’m
sorry. You should tidy your toys.
3. 学生能够听懂、朗读课文。
4. 学生能够初步谈论在家中应该做和不应该做的事情。并在医院、工厂、图书馆和家四个场景中选择1个场景用You should.... 和You
shouldn’t....作为主句型创编、表演情景剧。
5.学生通过文本以及拓展资料的学习,了解在各个场合都有应该做和不应该做的事情,从而体会到“没有规矩,不成方圆”的道理。
教具准备:PAD, Students’ books, Activity books, CD-ROM,PPT,词贴,情境表演道具等。
教学过程:
Step one: Warming up
1. Greeting.
2. Sing a chant.
Clap and say the phrases: …You go to bed early. We go to bed early. 2 3. We should go to bed early. Sam should go to bed early, too. What time?
Let’s watch the video.
Answer: Sam should go to bed at 9.
T: Yes. They will go to Big Ben tomorrow.
So Look!Tom turns off the computer and say:
Ss: You should go to bed now.
T: Well, Tom is very lovely and naughty.
Step two: Introduction &Presentation
1. Question 1: What is Tom doing today?
Ss watch the video.
Answer:Tom is making a mess。
Teach: mess, making a mess, Tom is making a mess.
2.Question 2: What does Ms Smart say to Tom?
Listen and underline the sentences: You shouldn’t… You should…
Answer: (1) You shouldn’t play with the CDs.

First, do activity 4 in pairs
Then play the game.
Step Four: Consolidation
1. Let’s act.
Students work in pairs. First, choose a scene and act it out. Then show
in class.
2. Enjoy a video about Qingdao metro.
Then students say freely: On the metro, you should/shouldn’t….
Step Five: Summary
We must keep the rules. Good manners make our life better. 4

Must do(必做): Make your family rules.

五年级的学生已经具备了一定的语言学习和自主学习能力,他们在第十单元第一模块中首次接触情态动词should, shouldn’t,初步了解其语言功能并尝试在具体情境中运用。练习及情景剧表演等环节所涉及到的诸多动词短语,也已经在前四年的学习中有所接触并能够运用,因此本节课力求通过教师的有效指导和学生的合作、自主学习达到综合运用的目的,从而使学生在学习中感悟“没有规矩、不成方圆” 5 以及“美好习惯成就美丽人生”的深刻道理。

45位学生参与课后评测练习,这是一篇绘本阅读,练习包括“判断”和“写作”两部分,现分析如下:
判断题:全对共43位同学,正确率为95.56%。出错题目为David
can stand on the chair.(F)3位学生由于基础知识薄弱导致读不懂句意从而出错。涉及到本节课知识点的should等相关句型并无出错。
写作题:全对共35位同学,10位同学正确写出了3-4个句子。原因分析:题目要求写5句话,许多学生虽然能够看懂绘本、也能进行口头表达,但是在语言输出方面存在欠缺,如You should go to bed
early. You should be quiet. You shouldn’t play ball games in
the house. 以上三句,多数学生由于词汇量的限制导致写作困难。
总体效果分析:测评结果显示,大多数学生已经达成了本节课的学习目标。学生能够运用目标语言读懂绘本故事并进行一定量的语言输出,而且能力强的学生还可以进行更丰富的语言表达。

本课是第十模块第一单元的一篇对话,发生在Ms Smart的家里,Amy告诉 Ms Smart,Tom把房间弄得乱七八糟。Ms Smart告诉Tom,不能玩CD、不能把书随便丢在地上,应该把玩具放整齐。Tom向妈妈 6 道歉,Amy和Lingling也表示愿意帮助Tom整理凌乱的物品,房间收拾整齐后得到了Ms Smart的赞扬。在本课中,学生初次接触由情态动词should引导的祈使句,并学习指令性语言You should…和You
shouldn’t…在具体情境中的运用。本课的文本情境是谈论在家中应该做和不应该做的事情,学生在理解和掌握重点知识的基础上,学习在工厂、公园等不同场合的情境中运用目标语言,从而体会到守规矩的重要性。
