Thus, each I/O bay has a total of 14 I/O connections (to 14 blade bays). Figure 4 shows the I/O topology.Figure 4. BladeCenter E I/O topologyEach blade server has at least two integrated Gigabit Ethernet ports (Ethernet 1 and Ethernet 2). Ethernet 1 is routed to I/O bay 1 and Ethernet 2 is routed to I/O bay 2, which means that only Ethernet-capable I/O modules can be used in I/O bays 1 and 2.I/O expansion cards that you optionally install in blade servers have two ports, which are routed to I/O bays 3 and 4. Thus, depending on the expansion card that is installed, compatible I/O modules must be chosen for those I/O bays. Unless an expansion card is installed in one or more processor blades, there is no need for I/O modules 3 and 4.The I/O modules must be compatible with the I/O interfaces present in the blade servers. For example, when a Fibre Channel expansion card is installed in a blade server, I/O modules 3 and 4 must also be Fibre Channel-based (that is, an FC switch module), and vice versa. If you install FC switches in bays 3 and 4, then any expansion cards that are installed in all other blade servers in the same chassis must be Fibre Channel.Table 4 shows the connections between adapter slots in the compute nodes to the switch bays in the chassis.Table 4. 什么是Trunk failover，当GbESM上联的trunk链路中断时，它会关闭下联刀片服务器的INT口，让刀片服务器的流量走另一个INT口和另外的上联的Trunk链路。

有点像VRRP 的Master路由器检测上联链路，如果上联链路失效，就降低Master路由器的优先级，让另一台Backup路由器成为Master，流量走新的Master路由器。

Nic teaming允许两个或者多个物理NICs在Windows里被当作单个逻辑的网络对象，在Linux则被当作单个/dev/eth文件。

这个是刀片NIC冗余的精髓...由Broadcom的 Broadcom Advanced Control Suite (BACS)软件提供，使用的协议是Broadcom Advanced Services Protocol (BASP) 。

BASP的刀片服务器配置用BASP Advanced Control Suite软件把刀片服务器的Nic制作成Nic teaming，Smart Load Balance 和 Failover是这份文档所使用到的特性。

公司这次购进的刀片集群，共有64个计算节点，5个刀片中心。

每个刀片中心服务器(BladeCenter Server)上面装载14个刀片节点，bcmm01~bcmm05，IP为192.168.1.101~192.168.1.105。

在具有192.168.1.*网段IP的任何一台微机上都可以进行管理模块配置。

管理模块的默认IP地址为192.168.70.125，打入此地址，弹出登录窗口，用户名和密码分别为：USERID和PASSW0RD（0为零）。

之后，可进入配置界面。

（在此过程中，可以将其IP分别设置为192.168.1.101~192.168.1.105，这里所显示的都是已经设置了IP之后的界面。

）点击Continue，出现：1，点击Blade Tasks→Configurati on，出现：把各个刀片改名，此处为node101~node114。

点击Boot Sequence中的node101，设置启动顺序为网络、软盘、光盘、硬盘。

并选中Apply to all blade servers，点击保存。

这一步就完成了。

2，点击I/O Module Tasks→Management→Advanced Setup，选择Exteral ports中的Enabled，出让所有端口。

3，点击MM Control→General Settings, 设置管理模块Name为bcmm01.点击MM Control→Network Interfaces：设置eth0和eth1。

对于bcmm01，设置eth0的IP为192.168.1.101，设置eth1内部通信专用地址为192.168.1.106；对于bcmm02，设置eth0的IP为192.168.1.102，设置eth1内部通信专用地址为192.168.1.107；对于bcmm03，设置eth0的IP为192.168.1.103，设置eth1内部通信专用地址为192.168.1.108；对于bcmm04，设置eth0的IP为192.168.1.104，设置eth1内部通信专用地址为192.168.1.109；对于bcmm05，设置eth0的IP为192.168.1.105，设置eth1内部通信专用地址为192.168.1.110；4，点击Restart MM，使所有设置生效。

三．一．使用SCM配置BladeCenter S的RSSM阵列测试环境：BladeCenter S 一台，HS21(8853) 刀片服务器一台，2个SAS RAID Module （RSSM），2个RSSM电池备份单元，1个以太网交换模块，4块SAS Hot swap Disk ，SAS Expansion card (cFFv) 一块配置前准备：BCS机箱内Bay3/4插入2个SAS RAID Module，在BCS前面插入相应的电池备份模块。

在Bay1位置插入1个以太网交换模块，插入SAS热插拔硬盘以及带有SAS HBA卡的HS21 ；连接所有所需的电源线以及网络线缆。

配置步骤：1.安装SCM软件首先在刀片外的管理机(可以是台式机、笔记本或者可以和AMM通讯的管理服务器)上，安装SCM软件(图1-1)。

图1-1按照向导可以逐步完成SCM的安装，选择完全安装，如下图(图1-2)所示：图1-2安装向导结束后重启管理节点的机器，完成安装(图1-3)：图1-32.运行SCM图1-4运行SCM会通过IE窗口打开登陆界面，启动时需要输入用户名和密码（图1-3）：SCM使用本机的用户名和密码，也就是安装SCM软件这台机的管理员用户名和密码。

输入正确的用户名和密码后，选择Log in 登陆。

提示：1.SCM 1.2 不支持Firefox 3.x，请使用Firefox2.x;2.SCM自动识别浏览器首选语言，修改浏览器设置，可使用相应语言版本的SCM。

若您希望使用静态IP，请执行以下步骤：1、将提供的交叉线缆连接到BladeCenter Management Module 卡和一个具有web 浏览器的工作站。

详情请参见图2。

2、Management Module（MM）默认IP 地址是192.168.70.125。

使用w eb 浏览器连接该IP。

输入用户名USERID 和密码PASSW0RD。

注意PASS W0RD 中的0 是数字零（0）。

3、在MM web 界面中，选择MM Control > Network Interfaces。

图1：BladeCenter Management Module Network Interfaces在相应的表单中输入需要的外部（eth0）IP 地址、主机名、子网和网关，并点击Save 按钮。

建议您保留内部网络接口（eth1 ——IP 地址是192.168.70. 126）的默认设置。

选择MM Control > Restart MM重启MM，然后点击表单中显示的Restart 按钮。

这会重启MM，同时更新为新的IP 配置。

使用标准以太网线缆将MM 联网。

BladeCenter JS20 连线将以太网线缆连接到BladeCenter 背部下方交换机模块（I/O module 2）的第一个端口。

使用另一条以太网线缆连接到BladeCenter 背部右方的Managem ent Module 卡。

然后将这两条线缆连接到您的网络中。

注意：如果您是第一次连接BladeCenter 到网络，建议不要使用DHCP，请按照本文开始部分的指示完成配置。
