7AUnit4 My Day---Reading第一课时,进行了多种课堂活动的尝试和探索。
二、教学案例描述本堂课的话题是school life,主要介绍了Millie的校园生活。
本课的教学分为三个主要环节:Pre-reading、While-reading和Post-reading。
其中,While-reading是阅读教学的主体部分。
阅读教学的最佳结构是橄榄形,两头小中间大。
环节一:Pre-reading(读前活动)。
这是阅读教学的开头,应该短小、精彩,旨在激活学生与话题相关的已有的背景知识,为下一阅读环节作铺垫。
在此环节中,笔者设计了两个活动。
首先播放了一段视频,这个视频制作正好是笔者学校国庆时期布置的一个“校园首映礼活动”内容之一。
它是由笔者班上学生制作的,反映了学生们入学一个月以来参加过的一系列学校活动,正好和本节阅读课话题相关,让学生对于校园生活的话题在脑海中产生一定的联想。
接下来笔者导入了各种关于学生日常学校生活的图片,并且呈现生词和词组,弥补因词汇的不足而造成的理解困难,为之后的阅读引言牛津初中英语课本中的Reading,通常分为两个课时教授:第一课时为课文内容梳理,把握文章的主旨以及细节信息,培养阅读技能。
第二课时则强调在理解文章的基础上,集中处理文中的语言点知识,并能运用目标语言知识对相关话题进行表达与阐述。
而在第一课时中,教师应充分了解所有学生的现有英语水平和发展需求,选择适当的教学方式和方法,把握学习难度,调动所有学生的积极性,使他们保持学习英语的信心,体验学习英语的乐趣,获得学习英语的成功感受,并使他们在各个阶段的学习中不断进步。

一、教学课型:新授课(按教学过程)和听说课(按技能培养目标)
二、教材分析:
(一)教材内容:见牛津初中英语7A Unit4 P58-59.
(二)教材处理:本单元的重点在于介绍年轻人的饮食及生活方式。
人们可以通过选择更好的饮食结构保持健康。
本课时作为单元的第一模块,通过Comic strip 点明本单元学习的内容要点(食物)以及本单元的主要任务(Main task)即:收集有关不同食物的信息,写一篇关于自己饮食与生活方式的短文。
其宗旨就是要让学生通过本单元的学习了解并培养健康的饮食习惯和生活方式来保持健康。
Welcome to the unit 这一项活动属于热身练习,其目的在于激发学生对本单元话题的兴趣,将学生引入学习的情境,同时也有效地降低了核心内容的学习难度。
说简单点就是激活话题、扫除生词障碍。
按照这一要求本课通过形式多样的活动设计,首先增强学生对所教授的新生词有个感性认识,通过图片展示、采访活动、pair work、gue ssing game等多种形式的活动设计,设置情境,培养学生学习兴趣,加强英语交际运用的实践,最后通过学生讨论、教师引导归纳,与学生一起总结出:健康的饮食习惯和生活方式对于一个人的健康至关重要。
总之,本节课所有的环节、活动都是围绕着实现教学的三个目标(知识、能力、情感)的达成而设计的。
(三)教学目标:
1. 知识目标:学习了解不同种类的食物名称;
2. 能力目标:讨论喜欢与不喜欢的食物,学习如何表达个人喜好;
3. 情感目标:培养学生要养成健康的饮食习惯和生活方式。
(四)教学的重点难点:如何鼓励学生自由表达他们对不同食物的喜好以及帮助、引导他们养成健康的饮食习惯和生活方式。
三、教学过程:
Step1: 新课导入:通过观看动画片,激发学生兴趣,引入节日进而和学生一起回顾了Unit3 学到的各节日的名称。
(本环节安排了单人描述、两人对话及角色表演等活动,复习了“节日”的名称和相关内容)。
通过举例介绍了New Year’s Day 的时间、如何庆祝(have a party、have a big dinner、have lots of drinks and food),很自然地导入到了本节课的内容“Food”。
Step2: 教授新词,不断巩固:
①.通过呈现一些食物的图片教授新生词,并同时引入句型:W hat do you like/love/dislike/hate? 然后安排1-2名同学手拿话筒在教室内“采访”其他同学,问他们“What do you like/love/dislike/hat e?”
②学生看书本P59 Part A,进行pair work,然后叫3-4组表演;
③通过屏幕呈现Andy’s table,学生两人一组,问:What does Andy love/like/dislike/hate? 答:He loves/likes…
④Listen. 听录音,根据所听内容回答:What does Millie like? Step3: 操练对话,运用延伸:见书本P59 PartB. 用下列对话进行口语交际操练:
A: I like … What food do you like?
B: I like…
A: Do you like…? They are my favourite.
B: No. I dislike them. What about…?
A: I like… It’s healthy. I don’t like… What about you?
B: I hate…
Step4: Comic strip:
①. Look at the picture of Eddie and Hobo. 教师通过简单陈述,呈现了对话中出现的新词和词组,然后Listen and answer: Wha t exercise does Eddie do every day?
②. Listen and repeat.
③. Practise in pairs, then act it out.
Step5: 情感提升:呈现一些食物图片,让学生分辨healthy or unheal thy,告诉学生这么一个谚语:An apple a day,keep the doctor awa y. 通过食物图片,让学生了解healthy food and unhealthy food,引入下一个话题:How to be a healthy person? (How to keep healthy?)学生四人一组讨论,然后每组由一人总结发言,告诉大家本组讨论的结果;最后由教师归纳、总结:healthy eating+healthy lifestyle+h appy every day=healthy you。
Step6: 笔头巩固练习:完成与本课内容相关的练习(补全对话和同义句转换)
Step7: Game time: 呈现一张照片,照片上的人很胖,坐在桌子旁,前面的食物被盖住,让学生猜“What does she eat at night?”此项任务是让学生运用今天所学的或他们大脑中已有的食物名称来猜照片上的人晚饭都吃了什么?最后教师给出的答案让学生感到惊讶:照片上的人什么也没有吃,因为她想减肥。
这时教师适时引导学生思考:这样的方式可不可取?并再次提醒学生要保持健康必须是: 健康的饮食加上每天适量的锻炼以及快乐的心态。
最后,让学生们一起欣赏范晓萱的《健康歌》,在轻松愉快的歌声中结束本节课的教学。
Step8: Homework:
①.Make your own daily menu;
②.Write an e-mail to your friend about how to be healthy.
教学反思:
1、以学生为主体,把课堂还给学生,教师的角色定位于示范者、引导者、合作者,而不是教师一言堂。
根据“以学生为中心”的教学思路,设计了大量问答、叙述、表演、讨论等形式多样的语言实践活动,让学生在语言实践的过程中逐步形成主动参与、乐于探索、勤于动手、善于合作的学习态度,同时十分注意激发学生的学习兴趣,发展互助、关心和合作的新型师生关系,营造宽松、民主、和谐的课堂教学气氛,尊重学生的思想情感和个体差异,使他们真正成为学习的主人是这节课设计的最根本宗旨。
2、根据青少年学生的心理特点,设计形式多样的活动,采用灵活多样的教学方法,实施趣味教学,激发、保持、巩固学生的兴趣,轻松愉快的开始、轻松愉快的过程、轻松愉快的结尾,使得整节课课堂气氛活跃、充满情趣是本节课设计的特色之一。
3、作为单元第一课时,本节课定位很准确:激发兴趣,激活话题,解决生词障碍;本节课的课型从教学过程来划分属于新授课,从技能培养目标来划分属于听说课,所有的任务、活动设计都围绕着这一目标开展落实;并且巧妙运用教材内容和适当的活动设计对学生进行情感教育是这节课的另一大特色。
4、作为一节听说课,教师设计的任务、活动不是仅局限于口头英语的交际表达(当然这应该是本节课的重头戏),本节课没有忽视语言运用的其他技能的培养,包括听、读、写等练习,教师设计了很多活动任务,由浅入深,由简到繁,层层深入,不断变换操练形式,促使
学生的听说读写综合技能的提高。
