II . Cats and Dogs

This is an old man.He`s got a beautiful house. He`s got a cat and a dog.He doesn`t go

out. A thief goes to look.The man is sitting at a table .The cat and the dog are both

hungry.”Here`s your fish .And here`s your meat.” the old man says. “ He`s got a

magic wand!” That night ... The thief takes the wand.”Please get my wand!”the old

man says.The cat and the dog go far away .One day they see the thief. “Let`s get the

wand!” The dog bites the thief,then the cat gets the wand and goes back home

firstly.The cat gives the wand to the old man,and he is very happy.” Thank you .You

are good.The dog is bad.”the old man says.When the dog comes home.”Go away.You

didn`t help me.”the old man says angrily.

“Brrrrrrrrrrr.”

And that`s why dogs don`t like cats!

III. Hats and Monkeys

Look at this man! He`s got lots of hats.

It`s hot .The man sits down under a tree.There are monkeys in the tree.The monkeys

take the hats.The man gets an idea. The man shakes his fist,and the monkeys shake

their fists. The man stamps his foot,and the monkeys stamp their feet.The man throws

his hat on the ground. The monkeys throw their hats on the ground.

The man has got his hats and he is happy.

IV. Who am I?

I`ve got very big eyes .I can fly,I can fly! In a tree ,look up high. Who am I?

I`ve got a very long neck. I can see ,look at me! With my head in the sky.

I`ve got a very long tail .I can jump very well! You can see me swing by. Who am I?

I`ve got a very long nose. It can touch my toes! It can reach very high!

V. Months

In January and February it is cold and there is snow.

In March and April there is wind and there is rain.

In May and June there is sun and there are showers.

In July and August it is hot and there are flowers.

In September we have lots of fruit.

In October there are lots of stars.

In November and December there is snow and ice.

VI Birthdays Around the World

It`s Tor`s birthday and he`s ten years old. His friends play a game.They go fishing-for

ice cream!

Lucy lives in Scotland. She`s eight years old. She`s got a cake with eight

candles.Everyone sings “Happy birthday”.

VII Two Lions

It is morning. It`s a sunny day. Many people are in the park. They walk down the

pathway.They look at the trees and flowers.Children play hide-and-seek.They buy

postcards and sweets.

There are a lot of animals here.They are made of stone.There are two lions.One lion is

standing.The other is sleeping.The children like animals.

It is night .It`s very dark.There are no people in the park.The trees and flowers are still

there.The animals are still there.

Huo jia and the Moon

Is Huojia a clever man?One night he goes for water.He looks in the welland he sees

He goes home for a hook.He ties it to a rope.Then he puts it in the well.
